Hi everyone! I managed to get tickets for FC Basel vs Barcelona this Sunday and I’d love to make the day extra special for my son. He’s a huge Barça fan and loves the players.
I’d really like to surprise him by taking him somewhere around St. Jakob-Park where he might be able to see the players up close when they arrive, and maybe, if we’re very lucky, get a photo.
For those who regularly go to FCB matches: where do the team buses normally arrive? Is there a specific entrance or area where fans wait for the players before or after the match? And roughly what time would you recommend being there for a 16:30 kickoff?
Any tips from local FCB fans would be really appreciated. I’d love to make this a special memory for him. ❤️💙

2nd matchday of Swiss League just completed, where are the stadium clubs located this year?

Mapped all 12 grounds for the new season.

The odd one out is FC Vaduz, who are based in Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is the only UEFA member with no domestic league at all. All seven of its clubs play in the Swiss system instead.

A few quirks that come with that:

• Vaduz can't win the Swiss title. If a Liechtenstein club finished top, the highest-placed Swiss club is champion.
• They can't qualify for Europe via the Swiss league either, the Liechtenstein Cup is their only route in.
• Elsewhere on the map: Zürich and Grasshopper share the Letzigrund, so 12 clubs but 11 stadiums. Capacity runs from St. Jakob-Park's 38,512 down to Vaduz's 6,441.

Er hat eine kognitive Beeinträchtigung. Er kann ganz gut lesen aber je nach Schreibweise des Buches, könnte er Schwierigkeiten haben den Sinn zu erfassen.

Hey everyone, quick question before tonight’s game. Does anyone know if you’re actually allowed to bring in your own food into the stadium?

I’m asking because my partner has some pretty specific dietary restrictions and the stadium options are usually tricky for her. I’d rather avoid an awkward situation at the gates or her going hungry through the match.

But here’s what I’m really wondering: is it actually an official policy that outside food isn’t allowed, or is it just something that depends on the security staff at the entrance? I couldn’t find anything clear online about FCB’s rules, so I thought I’d ask here.

Has anyone ever had food taken away at the entrance, or do most people get by with snacks? Would love to hear what’s actually enforced vs what’s just “on paper.”
