Because a lot of people seem to need help legit checking laced winning boxing gloves, i thought it would be helpful to make a detailed and definitive guide/checklist with things to look out for in legit checking winning gloves.
Following i refer the 8-10oz lace as fight gloves and 12oz and above as training gloves.
Laces: The laces should be round with cut off tips. But could have been replaced.
Liner: The Liner should be navy blue
Tag: Comes with this Japanese tag when new
Box: When new also come with the Winning Cardboard-Box
Size-Indicator: Size-indication is inside and on the grip-bar only. They never have a tag on the outside of the glove.

These mentioned above are the most common checking methods. But seeing the quality of replica clothes/shoes i think all of those would be quite easy to copy/have been copied already.
Airholes: Laced Winning boxing gloves do not have airholes. Velcro 8oz and 10oz have 3 Airholes under the gripbar.

Lace-Hole-Count: Winning boxing gloves have following lace-hole-count: fight gloves: 5 / Training gloves: 7
Left-Top: Training gloves, left-bottom: Fight gloves, right: Fakes
Patch: Font is thinner on rounded areas of the letter (exp. Bottom part of the «W», top part oft he «n») and does not have the same thickness everywhere. In comparison you can see the fakes have the same thickness throughout.

Wrist: Fight gloves have a straight wrist, while the training gloves have two bumps (a smaller and a bigger one with the same thickness). The fakes seem to have a thicker smaller bump. The wrist also should be about 1/3 of the length and the hand part the remaining 2/3. The fakes seem to almost seem half/half.

Stitching: The stitching has a «wide pattern». For example the same width has relatively little holes and longer string-parts, while the fakes have way more holes.

Shape:
The overall shape should not look blocky or ballooney.
Top: original, bottom: fakes
But should still maintain a sharp edge (on the training gloves)
You can see a clear edge on the training gloves
from the side-view the training glove should be pretty flat, not bulbous and seem to have almost the same thickness throughout the glove. The fight gloves are a little bit more bulbous.

Palm: The hole on the the palm side is not perfectly round, it should slightly be slanted towards thumb.

Thumb: The training gloves should have S-shaped/Hook-Shaped thumb, while the fight glove is a little bit straighter, but should still curve at the tip. The fake training gloves usually have a C shaped or a straight thumb.

Thumb-Strip: Is black on all basic colorways
Leather-Quality: The leather should be grainy and not look «flat» and maybe contain some imperfections. The «flat» leather is most of the time a glove from pakistan.

Price: Use common sense. If a winning gloves is new and priced $100, it probably won't be orignal.
Bonus: To clarify the misconception, i would like to mention, that the training- and the fight-gloves have the same padding (according to Kataoka from Winning).
I hope this guide will help people new to this sub and don't have to post a legit check every 5 minutes and if so, we can refer to this guide.

Selling my 10oz Chegui T gloves. Fantastic gloves used probably 8 sessions on the heavy bag. They are used but still in excellent condition. No smell and padding is still 100%. Only call outs are a slight scuff on the left knuckle and green stain from the leather paint on the laces.
They are a really fun glove to use but I dislocated my finger (unrelated activity) so I’m out for a bit and when I come back I’m gonna be using 16oz for a while.

Hello! I want to buy a reflex bar but I feel like all the videos on yt are just paid promotions and I really can t make much of it. Also looked on amazon and saw some bad reviews, so I m need of a little help from someone who owns one or at least who trained with one and can say for sure that it s worth the money.
I recently bought myself the RS11V, and after a couple of training sessions I realized they’re completely unsuitable for me because of the small finger compartment, my fist didn’t sit evenly. I tried on the Rival RS1 Sparring Gloves, and that compartment is bigger and more comfortable.
I’m leaning toward ordering the P4P, but visually it seems the finger compartment might be too small there. Can anyone who has the P4P tell me if there are any issues with the depth of the finger compartment?
I won't be wearing handwraps under. The wrists are not an issue, but the palm area feels slightly snug. I've never worn fingerless gloves, only boxing gloves that aren't snug at all on me. So, I think I'm comparing. Do I size up, or are they meant to have that fitted feel? Also, I got the venum mouth guard. It's slightly bulky in the mouth if anyone is interested and needs a review, but it has good protective coverage as opposed to my chemist ones
Hi guys, as the title suggests, I'm looking for 16oz gloves that are snug and have a smaller profile. My gf is taking boxing serious and is sparring but my 16oz gloves (rival’s p4p, campeon cheguis ) are too big for her, the finger compartment is huge.
I know rival makes a 16oz S version but I've not seen one in real life, can anyone recommend a small profile 16oz sparring gloves? For context she's around 5’2 - 145 lbs but her and fingers are short. And her go to bag gloves are 12oz cletos.
Price would not be an issue, just want something best for her. Thanks in advance.

I’ve been eyeing a pair of these gloves for the longest but don’t see too much information on them, so I figured I’d pull the trigger and test them out.
Anybody that does have experience with them, what are some things I should look out for or expect?
I’ve had a few pairs from a few different brands,sanabul,Venum,ring to cage. Venums were ass, sanabul were ok. Surprisingly the best ones were from r2c but anyway I have been looking at some from sting or ringside ,are they any good?

From my research I have made a short list of potential purchases
Winning FG-5000
Industry Standard and seems to be a good balance of protection while being relatively lightweight. The vision is really the only con apart from the price.
Phenom FSHG-270
One of the new generation face savers that has less bulky profile compared to the traditional face savers. Addresses the vision issues but I doubt it will be the same quality as the Winning being Pakistan made, but on paper this seems like a pretty clear #2.
At one point I wanted a FLY, then the Hit n Move came out, but then the Phenom came out which seems to be the best new generation face saver. The Hit n moves are too thin from what I have seen, the fly seems to be too bulky, and the Phenom seems like the middle ground. That being said, do you think the Winnings are worth the extra money?

So I thought it was normal to have to replace gloves about every year to 2 years because I wear out the padding. I can tell once my knuckles start to hurt and there are visible dimples in the knuckles.
One of my coaches told me that gloves should last 10 years if you condition/clean them (Sidenote - happy to take recs on any conditioning products) and I definitely don't hit substantially harder/more often than the coaches. The leather surface condition seems tangential to the padding itself at bes, but is there something I'm missing here?
Is there a way to get the padding replaced (or upgraded for the weight?) I got my hands on some of the limited Cleto gloves so just replacing them may be a nonstarter.
Hello I have been doing Muay Thai for like a year now and I decided to get a new pair of gloves . I was looking to buy a pair of fairtex bgv1 or twins bgvl3 but then I read pretty mixed reviews about their wrist support . I had a tfcc injury on my left wrist . If I wrap tightly with 4.5 wraps, do you think this will still be a big problem ? Do you have any other suggestions on gloves around this price range that have adequate wrist support but can also be used for clinchwork ? I am in Greece so I only have access to the European market .
I’ve started bag training about a year ago but took a 3 month break because of knuckle pain. It still hasn’t fully healed but I would like to get back in to it.

So I fell for the yibuko hype and I had a bit of a different experience with the company than I’ve seen on here so I thought I should share. I keep seeing ufc fighters and even coaches like Tim Welch using these gloves and it’s not just sponsors, fighters will regularly post pictures using them without tagging the brand so that along with all the good YouTube reviews made me pull the trigger even after seeing all the posts on here about how much they suck as a company. So It’s been about a month since I ordered the gloves and today I finally got my shipping label created(gloves still haven’t been shipped). I’ve been emailing them and dming them on instagram and unlike people in this community I actually got regular responses to my emails, it wasn’t right away but after a day or 2 they would always respond and eventually the guy told me my order was delayed because of the color way I ordered taking long from his supplier (the color way was sold out for a while before they got restocked). I’m overall kind of pissed with my experience I had with them but I’m hoping the gloves are worth it once they get here. I do wish the brand was transparent with the people because if they are way better than the competition they could’ve went the winning/grant route and made it known that it’s a long wait when you get the gloves from them directly, that way resellers can make a quicker market for them.
