Oops! EDGB Gone 0xc4 Error😞
My son after seeing my Gameboy collection wanted to play "Pokemon and Ninja Turtles" on one of the Gameboys and my other son wanted to play Donkey Kong. So I decided to put my original ROMs on these Game Boy GB Pro+ carts. Everything worked fine for several months until I decided to make copies of our save files and add some more ROMs to the flashcarts. In the process of saving and adding ROMs of games from my collection I screwed up and deleted the EDGB file. I thought I had backed up the EDGB file but I didn't. Do I need to download all new firmware to the micro SD card? Would buying a new micro sd fix this issue? Where would I find a free download copy of the firmware for these? Any help is appreciated.

Google says there is no file, just an empty folder. https://gbatemp.net/threads/firmware-for-gbc-flashcart.662203/
Try if that works, otherwise I could check mine.

I downloaded SD Card Formatter, used the "Overwrite format" option 3 times on each micro sd card. I copied my roms and save files onto the micro sd cards and they started working again. This was a very odd experience.
