"Adge" Cutler was an English singer best known as the frontman of the comic folk band the Wurzels. Cutler was known not only for his songs, but also his dry, West Country humour, and gained the unofficial title of "The Bard of Avonmouth"

He spent his earlier years pursuing various jobs he would use as material for later songs, including being the road manager for Acker Bilk (who was a local to Somerset too. They became good friends and sometimes played together in local pubs), and working in a cider mill, Coates of Nailsea.

He wrote several sounds about cider including "Drink Up Thy Zyder" which is regarded as the national anthem of Bristol and Somerset." It is also the 'theme tune' of Bristol City F.C. I have several of his and the Wurzels’ LPs.

Been listening through a lot of independent singer-songwriter music and pulled some of the standouts together here.

Got really into British folk rock, bands like Pentangle, Bert Jansch, Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne, John Martyn, Alan Hull, Trees, et cetera.

The question is, is there anything similar to these but from recent years?

How do other countries view the US now?
