Okay so the images above are my best recreation of what I could remember it looking like, and I dont have a name or keyword in specific that could ring a bell as to what the name of the website or application was.

So for context, I grew up in humble in texas, and went to an elementary school in that district. This was one of the sites we used when we had computer lab or when they rolled out the laptop cart since those were starting to get popular during the later years of my elementary school. Some other sites they used (and still use i think) are Starfall, Wixie, Istation, and some others I dont recall. I have a specific vivid memory of going to school with my tablet and having the app open or something similar to it while eating eggos french toast, weirdly enough. Also i really liked going on the dinosaur pages or sections or whatever.

I remember a website called Disney's Animal Kingdom with no relation to the resort where you could raise hybrid pets. No pictures pop up at all when I search it.

My wife found my vintage Don Knotts poster and asked after why I had it, and I tried to describe the Pop/Dadaist Army of Steves website that I spent hours reading in High School. Anyone know anything?

I used to visit a website around 2010 to 2014 that had classic poetry collection. The poetry was divided into categories like pain, love, love I, love II and so on other topic. The aesthetic of the website were such that it was full of nature paintings and such on every page. Towards the end, I remember there was a notification that they were considering shutting down the website due to lack of resources. I found this thread because I saw a URL on a DVD from 2000, and I'm curious about it.

This comes from the 2000 DVD release of the 1986 The Hunchback of Notre Dame from Burbank Films.

The Wayback Machine has one screenshot from 2011, and the domain was already up for sale by that point. If you try it now, it tries to give you viruses.

Does anyone else know about this? Do you know what the prize was? I'm thinking it was some kind of wallpaper or picture. I'm fascinated.

I need your help, there was a website in the 2000s where you could download full albums mostly by female artists, the albums were not successful in commercial terms but some of them were real treasures. Obviously it must be dead, but the name was something like "the island of deserted discs" or "the isle of deserted artists", as you can see that's the problem I don't remember the name, that's all I need. I remember back like maybe 6-9 years ago maybe? Roughly? Back when I was in like elementary school, I think, I honestly don't remember what year it was. There was a website that we would use as students where it was like a learning website where you would take vocabulary lessons and when you completed them, I think you'd get these trading card looking things where they'd have a certain animal on them and you could collect like a whole bunch and then there was a library thing where you could read a bunch of simple little books on all sorts of things. I keep trying to find it and I don't remember the name of the website. I remember there was a thing where your character had an apartment and you could decorate the apartment with all sorts of different pieces of furniture and I think you could put stuff on the walls and you could change the design of the walls and the floors and you could even change your character I think. Its been nagging me for like years I cant seem to remember what it's called.

A few years back I found a DeviantArt account that I think was called WW2clones

It was just one guy who would Photoshop multiple versions of himself fighting other versions of himself in WW2 uniforms

The whole thing was strangely compelling especially because of the silly faces he'd always make

Back around the mid 90's I came upon a site, that seemed to have been established by a forensic photographer, which featured a large gallery of their photos.

The site had a Gothic theme and used Gothic fonts.

There was a comments page with only one comment from someone asking why the site owner would want to host such a site.

Anyone else remember this or know if it still exists?

I ask because I was recently watching a Youtube video about a site named something like "Morbius" that people haven't been able to get into and I'm wondering if that was it and that I had managed to get in before it was locked away to invite only.

I recently remembered a series of blog posts or stories that I had found through StumbleUpon around 2006. They were from a guy who as I remember drove a street sweeper at night and had all kinds of crazy stories. Some that I remember are about his relationship with a woman who ended up dying in some traumatic way, spraying punk kids with dust from his truck, and drag racing in his street sweeper. I’m trying to find a game I used to play as a kid that all I can remember about it was you had an apartment, you could go to shops to buy clothes and then chat around and customize your character, I remember the apartments having like, hallways you could walk in and visit other people’s apartment, it’s not the most mainstream ones that are usually recomended it was more of a underground ish game I think but I just can’t find it, ring any bells to anyone?

There was a website that ran back in 2002-2008 era with a name like cdsinc .com or cdzinc .com. When you visited the site you could search for artists or albums, find the song you were looking for and then play it through windows media player on your desktop completely free. I recall being able to make entire playlists in windows media player and listening to music as long as you had internet connection.

There was what seemed like an endless discography of any artist who's music had been digitized at the time. It was so impressive thinking about it now it must have been created by some government sponsored archive or library

Hi everyone. Does anyone remember a website from the early to mid 2000s enragedbaboon.com? I'm pretty sure I have the domain name right.

It was a very simple website that listed articles by the site owner. They were all ridiculous and over the top humor. The only one I remember clearly is something along the lines of "Hulk Hogan should have played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ" and the essay said that the movie would have basically been the same until the crucifixion, Jesus would have hulked up and come down from the cross to beat up the Romans.

Back in the early 2000's (I want to say anywhere between 2001 - 2005), I had stumbled on a 3D virtual avatar chat room type place that I haven't been able to find again in the plethora of lists of virtual online spaces. Here are some things I remember (correctly, hopefully):

- It might have been a beta, or at least not fully released/in demo mode;

- It’s not active anymore as far as I know;

- You could customize your avatar and be a male or female human;

- It was perpetually night time in the world;

- You could walk around in third-person view around a small town with minimal structures, and there was a lot of trees, greenery, dirt, and rivers;

- There were a lot of French-speaking players;

- The avatar proportions were pretty 1-to-1 for human proportions;

- That being said, they were still stylized, so not like a standard 3D human avatar design;

- The avatars and the world were in 3D.

I've been trying to find some semblance of this thing for over 20 years with no luck. If anyone has *any* clue or hunch to what I'm looking for, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was doom scrolling on Instagram yesterday night, and in the comments of one of the video was a website with the name craxxley or something like that (don't know if i can post the link based off its contents). Out of curiousity I opened the website in a private browser, and while it started looking somewhat normal, it slowly became weirder and weirder, talking about graffiti, stealing things from kids, where I stopped searching was the point where the I think the creator of the website killed and beheaded a possum with too many pictures detailing it.
