Hey everyone, Iām thinking about doing my 1st-year Electrical Apprenticeship at Keyano College and wanted to hear from anyone who has studied there or works in the trade around Fort McMurray/Edmonton.
How is Keyano for electrical? Are the instructors and hands-on training good?
More importantly, how hard is it to find an electrical apprenticeship job after finishing school? Does going to Keyano help with getting hired by contractors or oil sands companies?
Would you recommend Keyano over NAIT if the main goal is to get hired and start accumulating apprenticeship hours?
Any recent experiences or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!
