Third round of narrowing, and the biggest one. Prices are down across the board from my last thread — I'd rather these go to people who'll wear them than sit in a drawer being inventory.

Same deal as always: I've said why each one is leaving. I run hot and amplify everything. Thin compositions evaporate off me, dense ones get louder than the reviews promise — so a fair number of genuinely well-made bottles just didn't survive contact with my skin. That's a me problem, not a them problem, and I've flagged which is which. I'd rather you buy the right thing than buy anything.

1. Les Indémodables — Café Arabesque, 40/50ml — $170 (the standout of this list. Real coffee, a spice bite, and a dry burnt-caramel immortelle running underneath — a superb composition and one of the better immortelles out there. Coffee just runs too loud in the lead on my skin. If you like Café Tuberosa or Black Phantom and want the grown-up version, this is it)
2. Ormonde Jayne — Ta'if Parfum, 70/88ml — $125 (parfum concentration. The Ta'if rose here is gorgeous — high, sharp, citral-green damascena, holds for hours, with pink pepper and saffron up top and dates in the base. Sits closer to the skin than I'd like and reads a little feminine on me. Excellent value at this ask for the concentration)
3. Goldfield & Banks — Bohemian Lime, 95/100ml — $110 OBO (crisp lime over dry woods. Going purely on size — I've capped myself at sub-75ml bottles)
4. Navitus — Carte Blanche, 85/100ml — $105 (Duchaufour. There's a transient petrol facet in the heart that's genuinely great if that's your thing. Musk/ambergris drydown just isn't my register)
5. Parfum d'Empire — Cuir Ottoman, 48/50ml — $100 FP (nothing wrong with it — lost a head-to-head against another leather (Cuir Velours, Falcon Leather, Iberian Leather, etc.) I own. Dry structured leather with iris, and the base really is excellent)
6. Serge Lutens — Le Participe Passé, 95/100ml tester — $95 (love this one, and so does my wife. Selling only to move into a 50ml — tobacco, incense, honey, immortelle, and 100ml is more than I'll ever finish. Happy to straight-swap for a 50ml, see want list)
7. Taif al Emarat — T10 "The King", 70/75ml — $95 FP (huge cardamom-amber-sandalwood. Big, warm, and it projects properly — it just doesn't move much once it lands, and I like things that shift. Great value performer)
8. Goldfield & Banks — Pacific Rock Moss, 50ml — $80 (lovely lemon-sage-geranium opening. Sits close to the skin fairly quickly on me — a lot of people get much better mileage than I do)
9. Guerlain — L'Heure Bleue EDP, 75ml — $75 (discontinued in the US. Beautiful anise-powder-iris classic; I turned out to be the mossy-Guerlain guy, not the powdery one)
10. Chanel — N°5 EDT, 90/100ml — $65 (bought as a reference piece, and it did its job. The aldehyde-ylang-neroli original, near-full)

7. Amouage — Beach Hut Man, 5ml — $20 (worth saying: this is not a beach scent despite the name. Mint, galbanum and orange blossom into moss and vetiver — a proper green chypre. Big and bright, more projection than I want in shared space)
8. Guerlain — Spiritueuse Double Vanille, 5ml — $20 (boozy rum-vanilla-incense. Reads fairly linear on me but it's a beloved one for good reason)
9. Floraiku — Sound of a Ricochet, 5ml — $20 (soft vanilla-tonka. Sweeter and more synthetic-leaning than I get on with; pretty, and pretty easy to wear)
10. Étât Libre d'Orange — Rien Intense Incense, 5ml — $15 (unworn; I ended up with a bottle)
11. Penhaligon's — Halfeti, 5ml — $13 (rose, oud and artemisia. Well made, just didn't hook me)
12. Chanel — La Pausa, 5ml — $10 (iris, green florals, moss. Gone in an hour on my skin, which is a known problem with me and light Exclusifs — most people get normal wear out of it)
