Question Framework 16 Fan Question
I have the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 5070 and currently in college, sometimes if I have a big break and no homework I will find a spot in the library and play some games. The fans on this laptop can get LOUD though, so I installed an application to limit it to only around 30-40% fan power. My understanding is that this should only lead to worse performance as it will throttle down. I just want to make sure I am not causing any permanent damage to my components. So my question is, is doing this everyday bad? or will the cpu throttle down and just be fine? Thanks

No this is not an Problem, the CPU handle it by itself.
Improment:
Install Framework Control, it is an all in one solution to manage you CPU and Fan. CPU set an TPU 30 or 40 W, so the CPU not using so mutch power to run into 100 degree and secound set a lower max TEMP for you CPU, down to 80 degree, so the CPU not operating always by 100 degree. So you FAN never run at full speed and all others can study.

Sitting at the thermal limit pretty much permanently isn't great for the parts and you'll likely find they wear out a bit quicker. Yes it won't instantly fry them as the processors will throttle but it's not healthy for the machine to be doing it frequently.
