Virtual memory compression for FreeBSD

this one is the best one on the list. once you can zram your / to a raid1 and make the raid1 write only you've got a permanent read-write ramdisk

you can raid1 a compressed ramdisk to a filesystem and get instant access speeds while still retaining the data permanently on a storage backing
