This rewatch I've been playing my own version of "Spot the Observer." You may not know this but there is an observer in every single episode. It's not always September and some of them are near impossible to spot as it's just a quick glance. But they're there. I'm not always able to find them myself. So if you're rewatching, too, good luck!

Some of the Observer appearances are obvious and easy to spot, but others are so fast.

I watch the show on Blu-ray so I can advance or rewind frame by frame and sometimes you can only see them for a literal frame or two, so the guide helps a lot.

I remember when the show was still airing new episodes, you could find observers in other shows, like this post show

I now look at people in series, movies or real life who look like an observer subconsciously, trying to find them. I became, an observer [tilts head]

Like halfway through season two for the first time and I only happened to spot him a few times since he’s been introduced as a character. Didn’t realize he was in every single episode. That’s pretty cool lol.

There's a lot of Observers so it's not always the same actor but there is an Observer.

He’s not quite new as he’s one of the original 12 Observer team and his name/designation is August. Also, in some episodes a group of them can be seen meeting or eating at a restaurant.

Mostly it is September but it's not always Michael Cevaris, there is a stand in bald guy LOL. Though there are times it's definitely other Observers too.

I've only ever caught the obvious ones.

I swear you see him twice in Midnight though, in the club.

Edit: The clues I never find are the props or set dec that give a clue to the next episode. The only one I spotted and always do is the one in Welcome To Westfield.

I remember recently watching the episode of the hand coming out of the computer, and i saw the car pull up outside Olivia's apartment and for a split second I saw September. I had to double back and verify. Very satisfying.

I finally got around to reading End of Eternity, by Isaac Asimov. It’s an amazing short book with some similarities to the Observers from Fringe. I highly recommend it to fans of the show!

I know now, but didn't find out it was every episode until about my third rewatch. I noticed a lot, as you do with the little details when viewing again and again, so went a-googling and that was that.
