Seeing the crowd in the game jump in fear was always a fun time.

... I don't even think I thought to try this, and now I'm disappointed to have missed out.
I do have a PC rigged up as an emulator, complete with Wiimotes and bar, so I'm gonna give it a go at some point.

I found it a bit confusing, imho this would work better with the last panel flipped horizontally

i half agree, the last panel reads like its intended though, you start with the shameful walk, lead into the angry yelling then see the unconscious guy. so it should stay the same orientation.
i think the first and second panel should be facing opposite.

I didn’t realize he lost grip on the backswing. You’re right, this is sort of like losing the eyeline when editing a film.

Who among us hasn’t launched a bowling ball backwards?! The next pitcher of beer will correct it.

When I was around 12 or 13 years old I was five-pin bowling (smaller ball than in traditional ten-pin bowling, mind you) with my family and I somehow lauched the ball upward rather than outward so it hit the ceiling above the alley. No major damage, but definitely not my proudest moment, either.

I don't get it.

He flung the ball backwards accidentally and it hit a guy in the head

I choose to go off the comic orientation and believe that he intentionally bowled into the crowd.

Can you explain, because he’s facing the alley not the seating area.

u/SexualDexter 2d ago
He's facing right of frame when he bowls, and when he walks back he's walking to the right.

Check his environment. The ball machine in the middle is to his rear and the lane is in front of him. When he’s walking back, the ball machine is in front of him.

Yeah you’re right, he is in fact walking in the opposite direction he bowled in

This dude consistently gets thousands of upvotes with zero comments on every single comic he posts to r/funny. He has got to be using bots because he reaches the top of the subreddit every single time.

Oh it's so obvious too. This super shitty comic has been up for an hour with 2500 upvotes. Ya ok

Idk how many of this guys unfunny comics I’ve seen on here, but it’s the same upvote fest every time.

How are so many of these making the front page? None of them have ever made me even crack a smile.

This is why bowling alleys don't like adults coming in trying to chuck the 8-pound balls as fast as they can.
On the other hand, I can confirm that dropping the ball in your backswing hurts your ego much more than your hand.
