The retract was the hard part. Getting claws to come out is easy, getting them to go back in cleanly every time, without snagging the fur or needing a nudge, took a lot longer than I expected. This is the version that finally does it and they're up on Kickstarter now. Four years of prototypes..

Hi! I’d like to introduce you to an OC I haven’t drawn in a long time. His name is João, he’s a Brazilian hyena who recently moved to Australia and works in construction alongside Tyson (another OC of mine).
I know the shadows are horribly placed 😭 I’ve been drawing for years and I still struggle with the exact same problem.
