This thread is for the newest episode of 14th Broadcast Season (11th Production Season):
”Late Bloomers”
PLEASE NOTE: For the first time in decades, some episodes are being broadcast in a different order than the production order. At this point, it looks like the production order and broadcast order are back on track, but the first few weeks were out of order. Because of that, we're not going to continue to put the season and episode order in titles to these weekly threads. Further, since we don't have 100% confirmation of production codes until the episode airs, we're just going to use titles going forward. This will likely be BACV06, but we just don't know yet.
Please keep all discussions of this episode in this megathread until the ban on new threads has been lifted by the mods. Any new separate posts about this episode will be deleted.
Since this megathread is designed specifically for discussion of the new episodes, you don't have to worry about spoiling anything here.

Is anyone excited for the three XXXL Specials?

The movies are some of my all time favorite futurama. I just loved each one and how it just kept going and going. Im excited for these specials bc besides these movies we had, we have never had any episode longer than 24 minutes. No 2 parters or anything. Now with very long specials (said to be close to movie length) they will be able to do bigger and more ambitious storylines. They wont have to worry about fitting so many things into a short time slot. They can do more with it. I am really really excited to see the multiple different storylines they do in the XMAS special. I hope one of the specials involve time travel though bc every single time travel related episode in this show is at the top of my list of favorite episodes.

Bender’s Globetrotter Dream

I felt bad for Bender when he got cruelly deny the chance to be a globetrotter in Time Keeps on Slippin. Unlike a lot of his usual antics, Bender’s desire to be a globetrotter didn’t seem to be of some sort of scheme and it was a sincere dream for him. It didn’t help that old Bubblegum Tate was particularly harsh towards Bender.

My fiance and I wanted to get matching futurama tattoos. He already had Bender, and I didn’t want a character. We constantly say “look honey, the tapirs! They loose their pajama like coating after a year, isn’t that interesting?” so this felt like the best futurama tattoo for us 💕
Plus his Bender is pretty awesome. Not pictured, he has the planet express on the other arm.
