Identity V is big over there?

Also lol, posts like this took 3 hours to be approved.

IDV stole the "DBD on mobile" thunder before DBD Mobile ever existed, which is ironic, since the DBD devs actually approved and served as advisors for the game long before they themselves tried to make DBD Mobile and failed to garner the same crowd that IDV did.

Their own crowd fucking hates them too much to try another game by them but not enough to actually stop playing DBD.

Their e-sport league (IDV Japan League, IJL in short) is considered the best with popular teams. The Latest International Championship, Call Of The Abyss VIII (Year 8) claimed by Zeta Division.

that's the factor i know.

How does an E-Sport League work in a game like this? There is a Professional Hunter and 4 Escapee? Or One Escapee always the one who also plays the Hunter?

I assume it works like DBD, where the hunter players is also a part of the 4 escapees team, typically asymmetrical esports have players who are pros in both roles

Teams usually have 7 members with 4 main survivor players and 1 main hunter with the other 2 being sub players for both factions.

I'm pretty sure these are the publishers themselves paying for snow statue ads to be made.

And smol Grave and Pinne? lol

9

u/lorrinVelc Feb 04 '26

Grave yes but Pinne ? She has no link to Siren. Either the Commander or Mori probably.

6

u/Long-Analyst8360 Feb 04 '26

My bad its Mori probably, i mistake Siren for Dorothy

u/lorrinVelc Feb 04 '26

Actually I've seen another angle and the haircut makes me think it's the Commander.

Mori has a similar haircut it could be any of the 2, like Mori joins Old Tales so it makes sense it could be her.

I really like how they did Arona and Plana’s halos, probably the best way to translate it into snow sculptures.

Funny how in all the images the only company logo I see is Yostar in Arknights (they didn't even make the game goddammit!). Why do they like to put their logo everywhere so much? Even in a snow sculpture.

9

u/Banana_Cam Feb 04 '26

Yostar I think wants to assert that it owns/controls arknights even though Hypergryph seems to want to distance/cut ties with Yostar. I only say this because endfield dose not have a single Yostar logo anywhere.

6

u/Jumper2002 Arknights Feb 05 '26

Endfield doesnt have yostar anywhere because yostar has no hand in it. You see yostar prominently on arknights stuff because in addition to being the game's publisher, iirc they helped to found hypergryph or were otherwise very close to the founder

1

u/Banana_Cam Feb 05 '26

I think my point is still a good one, If they were still in a similar relationship to when Arknights released then Yostar would probably still be the publisher and still have some hand in Endfield. Otherwise why would they want to stop using a publisher that they are already using for a different game.

2

u/FoRiZon3 Arknights Feb 05 '26

Also felt it funny that Yostar decides for global to launch many events in OG AK on Endfield launch week.

4

u/ChildishClyde Feb 04 '26

theres also a minecraft there

5

u/Aengeil Feb 04 '26

Amiya really grumpy lately after that Endfield release

9

u/Frozen5147 Feb 04 '26

I think that's Ch'en bunny (with the tie)

5

u/Aengeil Feb 04 '26

oh that make sense, my mind seeing bunny right away think of Amiya

3

u/Antogames97 Feb 05 '26

Wait... isn't it the City that Saejima go to in Yakuza 5?

3

u/himekugii43 Feb 06 '26

Yep it was so good that they made an entire city in real life

I'd have loved to see a Dante chibi with Verg, Don and Faust.

Obviously not the same, but I walked by a guy doing an ice sculpture with a chainsaw once. Blows my mind how they manage to get all those details in there.

Why can't they just make this chibi art style as their game art style instead of the big jiggly cherry monsters or the little girls

9

u/ContestDangerous Feb 04 '26

I mean NIKKE technically has both

12

u/juicyman69 Feb 04 '26

The contrast between cute chibi characters and the phat-ass waifu's gives me whiplash.

But to answer your question, sex sells.

Unfortunately

5

u/YsAndy Feb 04 '26

Ak has chibi artstyle

u/ThatBoiUnknown ZZZ (Ananta, Astrae Oratio, AP, & Fareidolia for future) Feb 04 '26

Chibi artstyle in gacha games suck, it just feels boring and lazy to do that in 2026

Chibi in fanart and stuff like this is fine, but why play a game everyday if they can't even afford full models?
