Limbus may not have much goon material, but damn is some of the fanbase down bad.

It's actually an inverse curve. Take Ultrakill for example : it's a first person game about robots going to hell killing weirdly shaped demons. It has innately 0 goon material. Yet the fanbase is the most down bad thing ever

The author is on it though.

One moment he gives us this violent dinamic gameplay with some very gritty and grim lore/world building.

And then he lets stuff like a sexy dakimakura of the Angel Gabriel (Main Antagonist from what I know) be sold as official merchandizing, and mentions how the dark stuff under Gabriel Armor is apparently a skin-tight black bodysuit that is easily tearable.

Why does he think fans need to know that? Easy, because GOONERS.

The common point between limbus and Ultrakill is that they're games intended for a rather mature audience (16-18+), targeting mostly young adults which is the gooning demographics.

Also they're both written after a 14th fan fiction of the bible that references lust and I'm totally missing the point

Even though gacha populations tend to skew young Limbus for some reason is like exceptionally young. Like a majority of fans under 18. I wonder what's up with that. The actual game is mature in content and delivery. Someone mentioned Roblox skins or something?

The game mostly had a mature audience, then about a year after release it got popular in Roblox and brought a lot of younger fans, not sure of the reason why it got popular in there though

We take the few crumbs they give, like Princess Rodya, Kurokumo Ishmael, shipping bait, and we run with them. It’s a great example of how sharply dressed can be just as hot as, if not more so than scantily clad.

don't wanna sound like a contrarian but I honestly can't goon to most gachas because they so desperately want me to whip it out in the middle of the game, while giving me practically nothing. Feel like with R and limbus the goonery evolves more naturally.

Alternatively browndust (and I'm assuming the rest of the S tiers) are made to allow you to goon in game, which is how it should be I think. Like at least they have the decency to respect the goon, none of this slop edgecase goonery

TLDR: Either 100% goon or 0% goon, everything else is shit
