I played the beta, and the game feels dated—like something from 10 or more years ago. Here are the main issues:

  • The "pity" system (guaranteed acquisition) doesn't carry over between different banners.

  • Endless loading screens every time you click on something.

  • Terrible optimization.

  • Insignificant mission rewards.

  • A 6-hour cooldown after just one Arena battle, forcing you to build multiple teams.

  • The main character learns skills from gacha characters; it’s a system heavily geared toward "pay-to-win"—if a character is bad but has a great inheritable skill, you're forced to try and get them.

Yep, that sounds exactly like a bamco gacha.

Endless loading screens every time you click on something.

Of all the things you listed, this crosses the line for me and because of that I'm out.

on the last point, so does shallot from DB Legends but hes honestly not worth running so the learnable skill is more of a flavor thing for PvE

edit: all your criticisms minus the arena battle ... thats just db legends lmao

That last one was the main reason I stopped playing WizDaph cause even if I would never use a character seeing an inheritable I wanted for one or more characters I do want to use means having to pull several of that character if I wanted their skill.

Looking What's Happening In Digimon Up

Bandai Namco is one of the biggest red flags to me even more so than Netmarble or Nexon. Digimon Up was a game I tried to love so much as I was a huge digimon fan as a child, but they made it just too greedy.

is this gonna be the usual anime gacha games that make high revenue on month 1 and die on the 2nd month?

Probably not, I imagine it'll do slightly worse than dragon ball legends or dokkan numbers, and that's been enough to sustain these games for many years

Seeing as how bleach gachas are going strong, maybe not

Again, someone who never played anime gacha games and says stupid things ahhh.

Dokkan Battle, JJK Phantom Parade, Dragon Ball Legends, Bleach Brave Souls, Bleach Soul Resonance, Pokémon Masters EX, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, Slime Isekai Memories, Fate/Grand Order, Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross/Origin, One Piece Bounty Rush, One Piece Treasure Cruise, Solo Leveling: ARISE, etc.

All those games are alive and have been for years. A lot of those have been alive for more than 5 years. Some have even been around for 11+ years, like Dokkan, Bleach Brave Souls, OPTC, etc.

You are in another reality, I think.

There is always your kind of people commenting on anime gachas releasing when there are more EOS games from random IPs than existing anime IP games. I'm really lost with how y'all work.

I've seen countless more EOS announcements from random IP games. Easily. I just don't understand it. People here are just so lost when it's not waifus and ass moving everywhere.

Like, yes, they do bad things. But anime games don't just automatically die in two months.

Of course, some random anime garbage games are going to die. Just like there are tons of random IP games that die too.

I think you all clearly have a bias.

You are playing games here that are like Genshin, for example, where you summon every two years compared to some of these anime games.

Bleach Brave Souls, for example, is one of the most F2P gacha games out there, EASY. You can have so many Orbs to summon with that it's insane. There are even Step-Up banners, and you can FARM summons in the permanent banner with an UNLIMITED AMOUNT.

The only limited thing is your time.

You can literally farm at the exact same rate as the permanent banner summons. I've farmed multiple times to 9,999 tickets, which is literally 9,999 summons on the permanent banners.

And the permanent banners are not bad at all. There are very, very good characters, and there is even THE ANNIVERSARY CHARACTER.

When anniversary characters are released, they're immediately added to the permanent banner too. This means you can prepare 9,999 tickets for the anniversary, summon them, and potentially get the anniversary character without spending anything.

This has happened to me multiple times. Also you get so much character with those 9999 tickets that you can then up and get back orbs like i said (every new 5 star get you 75orbs and old characters have a "ressurection" which gives again 75 orbs. And a 10x is 250 and the rate are good and there is step up system and pity system. You can farm easily like 30K 40K 50K even 90k like probably of orbs if you are a try hard)

So yeah, y'all talk about Bleach games or anime games being "cash grabs" and stuff, but then I look at the games you play and they're 10,000x more greedy, bruh.

So yeah, honestly, I'm lost. Y'all really need to stop being so biased about something that doesn't really exist.

To be fair, Phantom Parade have no right to survive this long, but whales and JJk funs sustained this game somehow.

Like sure, I geniunely enjoyed visual representation of the game, characters animations and models are really decent.

But everything else just kill me.

It have worse powercreep issue than ANY gacha game you can think of. Outside few supports unit here and theres, you basically must pull any dps characters, if you don't - you can't clear tower, because that thing is basically: Either you one shot boss or you reset. And bosses gets more and more hp in geometrical progression. You can fight boss like 3 mil hp one floor and 5 floors later it is 35 mil hp.

Not to mention amount of grind in this game to upgrade characters past certain point... Yeah, fck that game geniunely

Sigh... Another gacha game for a popular anime title again. When will they stop making these trashy cash grabs?
