I think so. The writing has only gotten better over the years. The art and music stay fantastic. But the gameplay is pretty much the same, so if you didn't like combat before you probably won't change your mind.
I was going through the story, but just got a bit busy back then. Then never really got a chance to pick back up. I guess I was waiting for an anniversary or so to help jumpstart my account back
Decent time play the game, you miss out on on TOA (Guild endgame where even participation rewards give you Strong Equipment/Crimeband) and 2X material drop, but it's still worth it to check out the game now since beating chapter 4 story give you S Rank/5 stars selector.
Other than that yeah check it out, my nitpick is that the farming stage have steep difficulty jump for new accounts (Crimeband farming stage 5), you can borrow friends support but borrowing friends support mean you need to do farming stage manually.
If you care about anniversary, it's will happen early Nov late October, Limited DPS character is magic frostbite DPS, and character that release on October are frostbite subdps that kinda important.
I really enjoyed the game as an early player, had a max clown girl with the snake? I don’t remember the name maybe Serpent or something on the nose. Left for a few months playing the Tower of God game, tried to come back and they went away from Apple ID and my account was gone. The support was pretty useless as I had no user ID but still thought the game was cool…. Also, hard lesson to learn to always back up accounts with email which I did with everything else I had sitting around
