A computer might not gamble they'll be the company whose live service game is actually successful.

maybe not in the first response. LLMs aren't strongly opinionated, so the prompt can just keep asking "but wouldn't a live service gamble be better?" and after two or three turns, the LLM will just say "Yeah, you're right. Let's try a live service gamble. That seems like the correct approach"

LLMs aren't truth machines. they aren't search engines. they're platitude generators. they just need a couple tries to figure out what you actually wanna hear

Depends on the LLM. Some are trained to agree with you to sound friendly, there are also other new ones trained to pursue an impossible task autonomously and not give up. The latter ones can give you a very different result.
