Gay tantra / multi orgasmic recs

Hey peops,

35 inner North gay here. First post on Reddit so please be kind!

I’ve recently developed an interest in learning about tantric and tao principles around sex and as a spiritual philosophy. I’ve read The Multi Orgasmic Man by Douglas Abrahms and Mantak Chia, and am currently reading Tantra Illuminated by Christopher Wallis, as well as The Tao of Happiness by Derek Lin.

Do you recommend any other books, podcasts or breathing / meditation exercises? Any retreats or workshops in VIC?

I’ve heard of Tantric Bliss and Naked Camp.

Thanks :)

Married Discreet Cruiser seeking advice

Hi team, I am a married man (to a woman) and am seeking some advice around cruising. I cruise often, sticking to side stuff to reduce the risk of catching anything.

I have seen lots of other married guys getting sucked or offering to suck me while cruising. I was wondering, what measures do other guys in my situation take to stay safe while cruising? I’d love to branch out and get sucked a bit more and not have to worry so much! I am aware that there are always risks, and I can’t have my cake and eat it. Should I take doxypep? Any feedback on what other guys in this situation do would be much appreciated!

Gay Singles, Mix & Mingle - Ages 25 to 45

Stumbled across this event.

Many of you complain about the lacking of dating opportunities in Melbourne.

Perhaps this is up your alley?

I am in no way invested, or involved in this event.

Where for pre drinks

I’m going on a Kodaline concert on 5 September at Forum Melbourne. I don’t wanna go alone. Does anyone know if there’s a bar or club that people would go to before going to forums for drinks like a P party or before the concert? Where can I meet some people?

Safest exploration for gay curiosity?

Hi friends

I'm a (formerly?) straight man who has become curious about the experience of intimacy with men. My plan was to book an escort on rent.men, but it looks like there aren't too many guys on there with multiple good reviews who always use condoms

Does anybody have advice about how to have the safest and lowest-pressure first sexual experience with a man? I'm happy to pay good money

Thanks

What’s dating like in Australia?

Hey! I’m a 29yo gay man from Argentina and I’ll be moving to Melbourne in October and I was just wondering what dating is like in Australia. What dating apps do most people use? Are gay men more poly or monogamous? Any tips or advices in general? Looking forward to being there 😊

Hi slay gayssss šŸ’… best clubs?

Hi lovelies, I’ll be visiting Melbourne this coming weekend and was just wondering where the best place to gay bar/club hop in?

For example, I’m from Sydney and I usually go to Oxford Street cause there’s different gay clubs I can just zoom in and out to.

Any recommendations are absolutely welcome! Even if it’s just the best place to go for a boogie hehe šŸ•ŗ

Thanks! ā˜ŗļø

Coming for a trip

So as the title says, my husband and I, are coming there on Saturday August 22. We’ll be staying near Federation Square! We are coming to scout the area and looking to see where we would want to move to! We live in New York, USA. He’s a physician and I have a PhD and am also deaf but can hear with my implants, he’s hearing! This is what I want to know:

Is there a neighborhood that has more LGBTQIA people in it than most? If so where is it?

Is there a gay real estate association or company that I could contact to show us around, maybe?

What is the consensus overall towards the LGBTQIA community in Melbourne?

Is there a LGBTQIA center in Melbourne?

I’ve tried to find info on the previous questions on every topic online and with AI but nothing really panned out, if you would please share info with me, I’d be a happy bloke! And possibly buy you a drink and/or dinner!

Friends would be great too! Anyway I’ll shut my mouth and hands for now! Thanks for your time! ā¤ļøšŸ«¶

Where do the quiet gays go?

Sorry if this has been discussed here before.

I really want to make gay/queer friends and probably go on some dates with people who have similar interests.

I have been told that I should go to gay clubs/bars to meet folks. I really dont like going out for drinks.

Help!

Gay jobs

Hi all, I am seeking some ideas on a career move.

Im 44, I came out later in life, ive always been very masculine, ( because I didn't realised I was attracted to Men I think but maybe thats just me )

Ive always ( except once ) worked in construction, farming, truck driving industries, but Im wanting to do something else , but dont have any qualifications. Ideally id love to get into mental health, peer support, Aod counselling, because I have lived experiences ( myself ) and would like to help others. Working with the homeless or cleaning, house keeping etc. I just want to do a job, that I dont have to be so masculine, or where people might expect and accept gay guys more so than the jobs ive had before. It be really nice to work along other gay guys, because ive never had that.

My Partner and myself are relocating soon ive been looking for all kinds of jobs, but it getting to the point that I really dont know what to do. I can't afford to take time off to study, i need resonable pay. Any ideas would be awesome

Lost and Confused - Looking for advice

Hey šŸ‘‹

I would really appreciate any advice on gay dating in Melbourne / in general.

I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing and don't have anyone to help, I've tried dating apps like Hinge, Tinder & Surge and can get matches but don't really know where to go from there as i don't feel like I have anything interesting to say.

I've thought about going to a "gay bar" and trying that way but am super nervous as I've never done that and would be going alone.

I'm not into drinking and it seems like an app or a club is how most people meet.

I'm not after just a quick grindr meetup with a random, I would more love anything from on going wankbuds / FWB to a long term partner.

It feels kinda strange to me to try and find a guy with the whole goal being just to fuck him, I feel like I want to become friends with him first then get down to business.

But gays can be quite forward and there is a large NSA vibe, i want to do non sexual activities too like play games and watch movies etc.

I've never had a relationship so am very inexperienced and also lack any self confidence even though I'm a tall skinny white guy with a big dick.

I feel like I spent years wishing I had a boyfriend beeing too scared to act and now its too late as I've missed all the easy opportunities like school and early 20s now I'm just getting older and less desirable.

I'm masc and straight passing so haven't ever been hit on, i feel like I need a big sign saying I'm gay and looking.

I know i need to take action to get results i just don't know what to do or where to go, i feel out of my depth.

Any advice on places to go, date ideas in Melbourne, or general tips would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Gay Gyms? Like to actually work out in.

I am trying to make my fitness routine more social as I have had a schedule change.

Where are the gay specific or gay focused gyms?

I am going to start a Gay Men's specific yoga class & I am going to run Melbourne Frontrunners instead of runs alone.

I honestly would like to try a gay-focused or gay populated gym to complement the rest of my weekly fitness routine.

I honestly don't fuck with my local gyms as annoying straight dudes in gyms are just the standard. Even as a Wog, I just can’t with 'natty' muscled-out wogs... I hate the ones I am related to, let alone random roided assholes posing non-stop. The level of acceptable heterosexuality for me is an ever-decreasing limit as I have gotten older.

I tried googling it but, obviously it includes any gym with a website with a rainbow flag in the footer rather than the actual gay history and/or experience of actual gay men.

So, where are the Gay Guy Only, Queer Only or Gay-Populated Gyms?

I just need a class that focuses on things like Pilates, Flexibility and Strength of my Muscles.

Gay-friendly psychologist?

I’m looking for recommendations for a gay-friendly psychologist in Melbourne, preferably someone on the younger side.

This isn’t a weird hookup request—I just find it easier to open up to someone who understands the culture and context without me having to explain everything from scratch.

In the past I’ve mostly seen older straight men or women, and find myself spending the session explaining things like Grindr, Sniffies, or aspects of gay life before we even get to the actual issue. I also just feel like they wouldn’t understand why it’s normalised for gays to randomly turn up to a beat and fuck at 9pm on a Tuesday.

I’d really value someone who is LGBTQIA+ or at least very affirming and culturally competent—someone who just gets it.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Bonus if they are also a psychiatrist / has links to one. I’m exploring ADHD diagnosis options too.

Has anyone else noticed that Jungle Juice, Rush and the older brands just aren’t what they used to be?

I’ve been buying products like Jungle Juice, Rush and similar brands for years, but lately they just don’t seem to have the same quality, consistency or impact they once had.

What really caught my attention is that one of Australia’s biggest sellers appears to have completely removed that older range and replaced it with different products. That seems like a major decision for a retailer that would have sold huge volumes of those brands.

Does anyone know why?

Have the formulas changed? Are the older brands being produced differently, or are retailers simply moving toward newer and better alternatives?

I genuinely like the products they are selling now, so I’m not complaining about the change. I’m just wondering whether this signals a broader shift in the market.

Has anyone else noticed the same decline in Jungle Juice, Rush and the other traditional brands? And do you think the newer ranges are now the better option?

Meet Bi/Queer people

How do you guys meet bi/queer people?

I have a few hobbies and meet people with similar interests. But most of the bi/queer people aren't open about it (including me). So this makes it harder for me to know if someone is bi or queer.

Most of the time I'm too scared to approach or take the first step without any hints from them.

How would you know if someone is bi or queer and have any interest back?

Thanks

First timer having a men's Brazilian wax (front and back). Tips?

I'm planning to have my first "privates" waxing - that's Brazilian being front and back (inc cheeks and crack). Obviously the waxing place gives advice etc but keen to hear from other men who gets waxed there also, on their tips for first timers - ie esp pain management, etc.
