I am a 25 fresh general practitioner doctor in Jordan. My family is trying to push me to get into residency here in Jordan through joining the army or the ministry of health, which will make me stay here pretty much the rest of my life. The problem is that the job market here is so bad that whatever I save, I end up spending just to live here.

I have been applying to multiple countries, but to be able to practice medicine abroad, it needs a lot of money to take the exams and eventually move. I have tried to enter through research in some fields I'm interested in, but I still got rejections due to lack of experience. I kept my options open so for jobs in the medical field, not minding starting in other jobs and grow slowly in an environment I can be predictive until I can be research or practice medicine again but it feels like I am hitting a wall.

I also tried contacting some asylum organizations, and they told me I need to already be in the country that would provide me support, too. I feel like my hands are tied, and I don't want to end up here being forced to marry a woman I don't love and live a life I don't want have. It's just I like men, and I want to fall in love with one one day or at least be free with my sexuality and likings without being judged.

I know this might not be the place to tell this story, but does anyone have an idea if there are doctors who were in my place doctors or organizations that might guide me or help?

Traveling from canada spending some time in Croatia. I have four or five days at the end of my trip, over the last weekend in September.
