Typo maybe, given the location of the letters on a keyboard I would suggest they mean good 🤣

I would vote for same word.

Autocorrect in an English+German multi-lingual keyboard. My iPhone does the same when I type "Gps" with autocorrect enabled.

As people have said, 99% it's auto-correct and meant to be "good". I can also make an educated guess that the finder is German speaking, because Gips means "gypsum" in German, and Germans capitalize all their nouns.

I second that. My German auto correct does similar stuff when I try to type in English.

The O is next to the letters I and P on a keyboard, and the D is next to S. Pretty confident it’s good.

Could be voice to text, mine does some odd correcting sometimes like that.

I'm torn on this one. The different people in my life who have been named Gips would lead me to different conclusions.

Could they mean HIPS? Hidden in Plain Sight?

gips is capitalized too so yeah seems like a typo that autocorrected to someones contact name or location or something in their phones dictionary
