For a while now ive seen people referring to gd twitter like something just atrocious and calling it by far the worst part of the gd community, and as someone who’s actually active on there i have to say it just is not true at all.

Obviously there will be annoying/toxic people you’ll encounter but that is not unique to twitter at all and applies just about anywhere on the internet. Not to mention essentially every single big community figure uses it and so it’s a great way to stay updated directly from your favourite players/creators.

I’ve met lots of really great people on twitter who are very chill and who I enjoy talking to! It has a bad reputation partly because it’s the place where dramas/situations usually start which is expected just because of the nature of the website in general (making it easy to communicate/share stuff to a large audience, as well as it being one of the biggest platforms for gd in general), however most people seem to think that these dramas are “overblown” which is just not true in the vast majority of cases.

Anyway gd tiktok is far worse because it’s mostly used by kids who are immature and usually have little understanding of the game. The same absolutely cannot be said for twitter.

In short, just don’t listen to opinions about this from people who have never even used the platform

I was surprised about how much fun Viprin’s ball maze actually is once you learn it. It kept me away from this level for a while, but I kind of had fun (except the first like 25%).

2 fortnights ago, I was enjoying myself with u/Amethyst_GD, enjoying their delicious company while they were playing geometry dash.

The developer of this level was actually scammed and ended up losing $60-$200 for nothing and he ended up getting scammed. The worst part is that it got so bad the game literally had to be hyper Nerf and cancelled and a YouTuber had to make a post about it about another YouTuber suffixpoint being a fraud and scammer
