REQUEST [Request][steam] TERRARIA

Upvotes

Good evening, hope everyone's day has been going well, my name is Simo I'm a college student (20y/o), I'll start first by saying this is my first time posting in this subreddit, I've been around for a week or two now in the subreddit, and I wanna say, I really appreciate the people that reach out and help fellow gamers in the community and give them a chance to play their favourite, it's truly generous and kind of you. I wanted to post this because Ive been trying to get the chance to try terraria in game giveaways but didn't get lucky, and since it just went on sale I thought I'd try my luck here :) you might say why terraria out of any other game?, well. Firstly, in my opinion it is one of the greatest creations in gaming history, a game that like no other, a game that you would spend hours and hours in, until you realize there's A LOT still undiscovered, there's a dozen and more of bosses that I've not beaten yet ( I've only beatn the eye of Cthulhu ), there's a bunch of cool and different npcs and dude there's a shark that is a gun! not to mention the collabs, the creativity and the pixel art style, it's just... prefect , although it might have been compared to Minecraft which also a god tier game, but once you try terraria you'll notice what's so great about it and what makes it stand out, I first discovered this game about a year or two ago, and then I watched a LOT of playthroughs on yt, and enjoyed every second of it, then I managed to get the apk on my phone, which I have played for a long time last year, hours in yet I've made so little progress lol, because I got so indulged in the amount of stuff you can do with so many things you can find/discover and craft, but since I've finally managed to get a laptop for uni stuff, I also thought I could try and experience it on the pc, my laptop is pretty old and weak when it comes to CPU and GPU and just about 100gb of free space and it's not capable of running any mid/high requiring game, , (windows 10) but I still have the hope of trying the backward compatible games such as the masterpiece of terraria, I would also note that I've just recently made a steam account for the first time ever and got two games for free on sale (deponia and dokimon), and I'm slowly trying to get more into steam world,, I've never made a steam purchase before, due to financial restrictions, tight money and the expenses with the new study year closing, so I was just hoping I could enjoy terraria a little before we go back to the the void of studying XD.

This is my steam profile : https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198663491386/

Terraria : https://store.steampowered.com/app/105600/Terraria/

I know I wrote too much but all i wanna say is, thank you very much for taking your time and checking my post, regardless whether it's in your ability to gift or not, thanks for your time, and good night to all fellow gamers.

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Silent Hill 2 Remake

Upvotes

I’m giving this a second shot because it just so happens the game went on sale for 65% off today! I genuinely didn't expect that so soon, so here is my second attempt at asking for help.

Since I thought I did pretty well the first time, I will share a little unrelated story for this one.

I didn't grow up with video games like most kids in the neighborhood. Almost everyone who was into video games had a PS2, and most of them played FIFA and Mortal Kombat, which I struggled greatly to like, but with no luck. However, when my cousin who lived in Germany would visit every couple of years, he would bring his Nintendo with him. Pokémon, Zelda, Metroid, and Super Mario, these games made up my childhood. My favorite by far was The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap on the gold Game Boy.

Every time he visited he brought his latest console, every single time, along with some of his old ones; I would try to play as much as possible before he left with them, so I had to subsist on the memories until he visited again.

One year, he came with both the Game Boy and his Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS blew my mind with the dual screen. As usual, I played as much as I could, but I really spent more time on the Game Boy. So much so that when he was about to leave again, I begged him to leave it behind since he had one already. He reluctantly agreed; I'm not sure how I pulled that off.

I was so happy and content; I still think those were the best moments of my childhood. So happy, in fact, that I thought it was a good idea to bring my Game Boy to school. I knew it was very likely to be seized if any of the teachers found it, but I was confident I could be discreet enough to share it. I was in 7th grade then and very eager to flaunt this with my friends, so I brought the console along with my favorite, The Minish Cap, to class. It didn't take long before it was stolen. I knew exactly who did it, but after school was over and with absolutely zero proof, it was as good as gone.

It took me years to get over it, and I dreaded my cousin returning or having to let anyone know I didn't have it anymore, but it was a big family. No one even noticed my Game Boy was gone. I remained miserable, my only true regret to date, and eventually, my cousin visited again about 4 years later. He, too, had completely forgotten he gave me a Game Boy and brought back a 3DS this time. I didn't like it nearly as much as the DS or Game Boy; it felt gimmicky, but I was glad the Game Boy never became a problem. Then, we were back to the same old pattern: I would play as much as I could and then look forward to the next visit in a couple of years.

Eventually the guy that stole my Game Boy admitted to it, just about when I was graduating, he didn't even play it much because he didn't have the charger so it deteriorated from whatever means he used to keep it charged and eventually it became scrap. We remained enemies of course.

I'll crudely try to bring this back to Silent Hill 2 by saying Silent Hill was one of the games that filled those gaps in the years between visits and made me okay with waiting a couple more years to play Super Mario again. Now that it's on sale, I hope my chances of getting it are improved.

GOG [GOG] Thank you Anonymous for Fable Anniversary

Hey guys!

I would just like to come on here and express my gratitude to Anonymous for buying Fable Anniversary for me. They wished to remain anonymous, and I would like to honor their request.

They really were very nice and generous, and they bought it just in time before the sale was up. It was kind of unexpected, as I didn’t really think that someone would care about my situation, and care about my request. Especially since that was my first post ever on this sub.

So once again, thank you so much for the game, you are the best! I wish you all the happiness and good things in life:D.

REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Postal 2 (5.79$ in my region)

I discovered *Postal 2* last week and really liked it. I’m not much of a gamer—I only play when I have the chance—but since I’m preparing for university entrance exams this year, I really need an hour a week to unwind. My family is struggling financially right now due to the cost of prep courses; I’m 18, studying for the university exam, and taking a gap year (I'm retaking the exam). That’s just how the education system works in my country—I think I’ve said that twice now, but anyway... I looked into *Postal 2* and found out it’s better than *Postal 3*, *4*, and *Brain Damaged*. I hadn't planned on posting here—I don't like asking others for things or playing the victim, and I had intended to just download a pirated copy—but I couldn't find a reliable cracked version. I’d be grateful for any help.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Crimson Moon 13.99$ (my region)

Hello everyone , i hope y'all are doing great and dealing nocely with the heat all over the world.

Today i'd like to bring your attention to an indie game which just launched but looks so promising and am sure has a great future . Its called Crimson Moon . Its a dark fantasy souls like. I honestly, ever since i watched the videos and the images they posted i was very intruiged and looking forward to play it . I even participated in. Their giveaway for the standard edition of the game . Helas i havent won . lve played lots of game from all different genres before but i always loved the grind in souls like(in survival games as well ) . I loved elden ring the most for the story and aesthetic but i think this game has potential and i would love nothing more than to play it . Sadly am ashamed to admit that i have pirated all the soulslike games i played but i hate to do so for this one since its an indie game.

Sadly i cant afford it right now due to multitude of reason and. I hope one of you lovely fellas would be able to help me out .and no matter the outcome i appreciate all that you guys do cheers.

REQUEST [Request] [Steam] Total War Warhammer III Lord of the End Times DLC Bundle

Hey everyone, I'm back again.

I got really into the game recently and it’s honestly become one of those games where I’ll tell myself I’m only going to play for an hour, then somehow it’s 3 AM and I’m still fighting a completely unnecessary war on the other side of the map (recently played Yuan Bo, a Lord that has 2 settlements that are found realllyyyyyy far from each other).

I’ve been playing Grand Cathay and Beastmen and I've been really enjoying the campaign. I tried different army compositions, experimenting with builds, and just learning the game properly. There’s honestly so much content in Warhammer 3 that I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.

I’m hoping someone might be willing to gift me Lord of the End Times. I’d really like to try the content that comes with it, but unfortunately I can’t justify spending the money on another DLC at the moment. I know there are quite a few DLCs for this game already, and they can definitely add up.

I’m not expecting anyone to gift it to me, of course 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. I know it’s a fairly big thing to ask from a stranger on the internet. I just figured there’s no harm in asking, and I’d rather try my luck than not ask at all 😊😊😊😊😊😊.

If someone does happen to help me out, I’d genuinely appreciate it a lot. And even if nobody can, thanks for taking the time to read this 🥺🥺🥺.

I wish you all good luck, and I'll always repay you when you're also requesting; I'll also reply good luck on your posts 🥺🥺🥺

REQUEST [REQUEST] [Steam] Halo Wars: Definitive Edition ($19.99) — Missed the sale, but still dreaming of RTS modding (day4)

My Steam ID: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198426762041

Hello everyone!

I am putting out a bit of a Hail Mary today for a game that has been living in my head rent-free since I was a kid: Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.

The Bad Timing & Why I'm Asking Now: I am absolutely heartbroken because I managed to miss the recent major seasonal sale window where this was down to $5. Halo Wars rarely goes on sale outside of the massive seasonal events, and due to regional currency conversions in Turkey, the $19.99 full price is way outside what my student budget can handle right now.

Why this game? I grew up playing the Xbox 360 demo back in the day and fell completely in love with it. But what really drives my passion for it now is the modding scene. I am a massive fan of asset modding and retexturing games—I've spent countless hours tweaking files and custom-texturing games like Portal and Portal 2. The idea of diving into an RTS where I can unpack the files, edit unit textures, and build custom-painted armies from a bird's-eye view makes me genuinely excited to sink hundreds of hours into it.

I know $20 is a big ask compared to a sale price, and I completely understand if that is too steep for anyone right now. But if anyone is willing to make this happen, you'd be handing me a massive creative sandbox to geek out in for months to come.

Note on Gifting: Steam's cross-region gifting system allows direct gifts across borders smoothly. A global Steam key or a Steam Digital Gift Card also works as a backup!

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you all have an awesome week!

REQUEST [Request] [Steam] Life is strange Reunion Day 4 (attempt 4th)

With this being my 4th time requesting Life is strange Reunion I also really want to talk about Life is Strange 2 because I think it deserves way more appreciation than it sometimes getsAfter playing the first game I was really curious about what the sequel would do and LIS 2 surprised me with how much your choices could actually affect the journey

‎The story felt different from the first game but it still had that same idea of making you care about the people you were travelling with and making every decision feel like it could matter later

‎The relationship between Sean and Daniel was probably my favorite part The wolf brothers dynamic reminded me a lot of Max and Chloe in a different way Max and Chloe had that deep connection built from years of friendship and shared memories while Sean and Daniel had the bond of brothers growing up together and trying to protect each other through everything Both relationships made me care less about simply reaching the next part of the story and more about what my choices meant for the person beside me

‎And LIS 2 had so many different choices and outcomes that made me constantly wonder what would happen if I had done something differently that is what I love about Life is Strange It makes choices feel personal You are not just picking an option from a menu You are deciding what kind of person you want your character to be and how they treat the people they care about

‎LIS 1 introduced me to this series and LIS 2 showed me that Life is Strange could tell completely different stories while still keeping that emotional heart

‎so yeah

‎Day 4 and still hoping

Thanks to u/AbedGubiNadir for Sands of Aura. I've never gotten a game here so I don't know what to say. If I don't seem that enthusiastic, just know that I truly appreciate it.

I will keep using this subreddit in the future if people as good as AbedGubiNadir keep offering stuff. I didn't believe I would get something but now I know it is truly legitimate.

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Deltarune | $24.99 USD | 4th Attempt

Upvotes

Hello?🤔

I've very recently gotten extremely interested in Deltarune after a surge of videos were practically thrown at me by various social media algorithms. I won't act like I was oblivious to the game beforehand, but for the most part it was only something I knew about vaguely and considered an earnestly cool concept, though certainly not anything I felt too strongly interested in. I can confidently say that opinion is not one I still hold.

This game has become an intense fixation over the last few weeks, and it's honestly surprising considering the trace amounts of content I'd seen in the past. Sure, I'd been spoiled from time to time, but from an outside perspective it is honestly abysmal trying to make sense of what you are seeing and hearing without proper context, of which I had none. Though what I did see was still very intriguing and funny even if it didn't make much sense to me.

Now I can confidently say I'm hooked, Chapter 5's somewhat recent release went completely under my radar, and now I've been bombarded by videos and content pertaining to the game that I otherwise never would've expected to see. Somehow, I'd heard nothing about it over the last 2 months since its release until now, and suddenly I cannot stop thinking about it. Seriously, it's an issue.

For anyone cautious about whether or not I might actually enjoy the game, or even know for sure if It's for me, I played Chapter 1 of the Chapter 1 & 2 demo, and cautiously avoided playing Chapter 2 since it is, after all, still part of the official game and I wanted to ensure I enjoyed the game without revealing too much before I can confidently just play it all the way through without being forced to quit so early, which would just be frustrating and unsatisfying.

Those few hours that the 1st Chapter lasted were addictive. The humor, the references, and the many tidbits of 'spoilers' I had seen over the last 7 years since the game started releasing have had no impact on the game's enjoyability for me. If anything, the faint memory of memes and posts I couldn't understand only made it better, since I felt like I was finally joining in on a nigh decade old joke, all without diminishing the story, in fact I've never had a clearer understanding of the game like I did when I was actively playing it. (In retrospect that is obscenely obvious, but I'm used to games with complex yet digestible lore. Deltarune very much needs you to participate as I am coming to learn.)

All-In-all this game has been like crack and I've only played 1/5th of what is currently available in the actual game. I DEEPLY want to experience the rest of this 7-year joke and fully immerse myself in that world like everyone else has been for the last few years, and there are still 2 more chapters yet to release. With so much hype and energy in the community as those last 2 chapters appear on the horizon I feel like now is probably the very best time for me to get into the game anyway. There is so much meat to dig through on the game, and there's just enough left so that when I catch up, I won't feel late to the party, nor will I feel like I only showed up for the finale because it's still more than the very end of the game left to come out.

And I don't know how it took me this long to remember it, but I'll add it now. The music is tear-jerking. I've always been a fan of Toby Fox's music even if Deltarune is my first genuine venture into his games, but the cultural impact they have had is undeniably MASSIVE, and even just from the small amount of the VERY many tracks featured in the entirety of Deltarune, the 1st Chapter Demo was nonetheless euphoric, and I'm well aware of the bangers further down the line.

REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Red Dead Redemption 2 (-75%)

Hey everyone!

I recently found this subreddit and thought I’d give it a shot. I’ve been wanting to play RDR2 for a while now, so I figured I’d try my luck here.

I’ve got a week-long holiday coming up, and I finally have some proper free time to sit down and enjoy a game without having to worry about work or anything else. RDR2 has been on my list for ages, and I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to finally play it. I’m especially interested in the open world and the story, being able to explore at my own pace, come across random things, and just get lost in the world is exactly the kind of experience I enjoy.

I noticed that it’s currently 75% off, which is a really good discount, but unfortunately it’s still more than I can afford right now. I was hoping to buy it during the sale, but my budget just doesn’t allow for it at the moment.

I’ve also managed to avoid most of the major spoilers somehow, so I’d really like to experience the story for myself rather than knowing what happens beforehand.

If anyone happens to be kind enough to gift it to me, I’d genuinely appreciate it and would have a great time playing it during my holiday. And if not, no worries at all, I completely understand.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day everyone! :)

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Final Fantasy Resonance (7th Attempt)

Upvotes

Hello everyone! A new trailer was dropped and I tried to watch it and their are leaks, man I am using all my strength not to watch it and immediately close it and thankfully I was able to not watch it whole.

They just showed Tidus man! I am getting so hyped! 7 weeks to go for the game to launch!

Firstly I would like to thank this awesome community for gifting so many games to strangers across the planet. I wish I could do the same in the future. I don't have the capacity now but for sure in the future I would give back here on any way I can.

Going into my request, I have been a Final Fantasy series fan for so long as I can remember. My first Final Fantasy was FFVIII in PS1(the big one) and from then on I became an FF series fan especially Final Fantasy VII. I even named my son Shinra, I would name him Sephiroth but its too long or Cloud but its too common. So I decided to name him Shinra. It just not represent FF 7 but also it represent one of my favorite character in Naruto, which is Pain.

You can see in my Steam profile that I already 100% FF7 OG(this one is mine), Remake and Rebirth thanks to Steam's Family sharing because my friend bought these 2 games.

I have played almost all Final Fantasy from PS1 up to PC, I have played FF7 to 9 with PS1 and FFX and XIII with PS2 but never played FF 11(MMORPG) and FF 12(sold my PS2). continued to PC and skipped FF14(MMORPG) continued to FF15(pirate). The latest FF16 I have also not played it yet due to my ancient relic pc and that is the history of me being an Final Fantasy fan all throughout the years.

I know this is a big ask and the game is not even out yet but you can buy it in advance. I am not expecting for this request to be granted anytime soon or even not granted ever, but I would like to put it here if ever someone will fulfill my wish. I am not asking this due to hype but as a long time fan of Final Fantasy and this installment is the very first one that is going to use HD-2D style in the main line of Final Fantasy.

I just want to share that I just finished Octopath Traveler 1 and 2 with 100% achievement and you can see it on my steam. My next goal is to 100% OT0 on which I was also gifted. I just took a break from playing JRPG because I played OT 1 and 2 consecutively.

I just want to be honest and say I really want to play this game. I know this is a long shot but I believe you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Whether this is granted or not or I can buy the game myself when the game launches and go on sale, I am still truly grateful for this community.

REQUEST [REQUEST][PS5] HALLOWEEN DIGI-DELUXE EDITION

Upvotes

Hello im Sebastian, nice to meet you im a gamer and i have been for ages now , let me start by saying thank you for reading this and may i say, have a blessed day/night, ive been contemplating even posting this, but my Birthday was 1 week ago (aug 24th) i would attempt to try for Halloween Digi-Deluxe Edition (I WILL EXPLAIN BEFORE GETTING TO THE GAME)

First off let me explain the situation, my area just isn't hiring right now, and I've seen others post about finding a job and even they aren't finding anything, the job Market right now is probably the worst it's ever been

Second off, my birthday was last Monday and I got some pretty crappy news, I lost my great uncle and it was just a bad day cause we always got along and had laughs when we were around each other and then had the funeral Thursday and it was very tough, so coming here was something I have been thinking about all week cause I already feel bad to begin with and I NEVER been a fan of asking for stuff even tho I have posted here

NOW to Halloween!! Halloween is my favorite movie franchise of all time! It's my favorite time of year as well, the movies are awesome to me and the time of year is perfect for it, but on to the game, it's the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox, it's a 1V4 as Michael Myers tries to kill the folks of Haddonfield, the survivors must alert the folks of Haddonfield to get them to safety, while being able to fight back it will be a challenge for Myers is truly evil and powerful, the storymode is also what is drawing me in because a storymode around my favorite horror villain is absolutely going to be amazing!!! But even as the survivors fight back it's not enough to beat Michael Myers because as everyone knows -you can't kill the Boogeyman!-

I dont expect anything from anybody, if it happens im forever grateful and if it doesn't im still forever grateful, thank you for reading, please have a blessed day/night and may you be blessed with good luck ❤️
