today at around 19:15, the east bond part of the m8 (around Hillington) I saw police escorting a few large trucks with large cylinders on them, does anyone know what it is ? I’ve saw this a few times driving back from work during the week around this time, the police also stop the cars from following while this is happening

Just moved into a city centre flat and discovered the building has no fibre and no cable, nothing coming in at all. So I've bought an Tp-Link NX500 5G router and I'm about to sort a SIM.

The frustrating bit is I can look out my side window and see an office block, multiple stories of cunts sat at their computers, all wired up to the hilt. Meanwhile I'm here waving my phone about looking for bars.

Anyone done the same, particularly with EE or Three?

What speeds are you actually seeing day to day, and how badly do they drop at peak times?

Any throttling or traffic management on the "unlimited" plans?

How is it for streaming? I'm on YouTube and Netflix most evenings, sometimes 4K, and often on two screens at once. Does it hold up or does it buffer once everyone gets home?

Has CGNAT caused you any grief?

Is anyone running a full smart home off this? I've got a decent number of devices and I'd rather not find out the hard way that it falls over.

Hi, Recently moved to glasgow from a quiet town in wiltshire, so its a big change. Ive always been intrigued with urbanism and glasgow has something quite unique, the m8 that goes through the city center. Ive driven on it and its quite an experience and the ammount of concrete everywhere especially at anderston is quite staggering and the fact you have to leave some junctions in the right hand lane is crazy.

Disregarding traffic. What do YOU think of it because im intrigued in what a glasweigian thinks of it. The city council calls it a ugly sc@r from the 1960s but when I read comments online from people they seem to defend it.

Do you view it as a terrible tragidy that happened to glasgow or a useful road link?

I used the bus number 6 with the Tap in Tap out system and 2 days later i see they took 3,25£ for a 15 min ride between the city center and the Botanic gardens. I’m so shocked. I just checked the Fare finder to check and it’s the right price between my two stations.

What justify these prices ? And i hope there are lowest prices with subscription for the citizens of the city.

I’m getting Married in October and it’s a very small gathering. I was looking for some transport options in or around the city but everything I’ve found online so far has been overkill for what I am after. It’s just for my fiancé and I and it’s really just a very nice taxi we need. The venue we are going to doesn’t have street access so it’s not a photo op or anything like that. I’d just like to take my wife-to-be to our ceremony in something nice for our special day. Our home isn’t served by Uber for the likes of even an Uber Exec.

Can anyone say if it is legal for factors to charge different rates for different payment methods?

My newish build estate changed to Newton last year and residents paying by DD seem to be paying half the amount of those choosing SO.

I know factors make it up as they go along, I just can't get my head round the difference in payment when the costs are supposed to be evenly split amongst residents.

Just a general question, but I havent been able to purchase the 4weekly tripper pass with first bus since May. I don't see an option for it, and when going to my past ticket purchases, it says "this ticket is no longer available to repurchase" is there any company still doing a tripper pass to cover WCM, first and stagecoach? - I use all three bus companies to get to and from my job.
