Goodbye Google
Okay, I've been a loyal supporter of Google for over 2 decades. Loved their products and have set up and synched my home, loved their altruistic philosophy, and I've owned their stock. Now, G home sucks and they have obviously lost their altruistic direction and are more interested in preservation of their wealth. Their Lake Ontario gaffe was the end. I'm jumping ship and figuring out a way to replace it all. Get on the right side of history Goog.

Them changing Lake Ontario was the moment you realized Google was āmore interested in preserving their wealth.ā
If you arenāt a bot, are you a fucking idiot then?

No, not the moment. Had been happening over time with the degradation of their services. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Guess I still had hope after supporting them for so long.

Well, itās the first major platform to lick trumps boots by renaming āLake Ontarioā to āLake America.ā It is the first browser to remove MV2 extensions, leading to the removal of uBlock Origin add blocker. P.S. thereās also [r/degoogle](r/degoogle)ā¦

Ahh, thank you for pointing out degoogle. It seems like we have a cadre of Google paid influencers on this sub. I was not kidding about being a huge fan for decades. They may care when we all start de-googling.

Google doesn't have to put all this AI in, and cater to Trump's every demand. I'm through. I recently removed Chrome from all my computers and I'm about to remove Google Maps.

That's a pretty dumb reason to finally decide to not use Google, for an issue that really doesn't have anything to do with Google.
