Discussion - Tsushima: Legends Back in.
So, after roughly 2 years of not playing, I decided to jump back in. Generally really nice to see people are still playing survival! Abit rusty! (I was literally glued to this game since release!). I'm just wondering if people are on for jumping on at some point for fun and if the sequel is worth getting for legends mode?
Again! Lovely to jump back in, missed it!

Welcome back - I play this almost every day
Haven’t played Yotei legends - but from what I can gather it didn’t get the love that Tsushima got from the dev team and was abandoned pretty quickly
Shame really as Tsushima Legends is a perfect example of endgame content done right - you can clearly tell there’s a ton of effort put in and it wasn’t just an afterthought

That’s cool! Just recently got all trophies in Yotei so been thinking about go back to Tsushima to knock off the ones I never got there.

Yotei Legends is an excellent game. It WILL feel unfamiliar to you at first but is built on the same bones as Tsushima Legends and the more you explore it the more you will begin to tecognize it. Where Tsushima had width, Yotei hides depth.
Yotei feels less arcadey than Tsushima, where the main method of play would be to wipe out waves of enemies quickly, and instead focuses more on the 1v1 duelist gameplay with enemies being more durable and, individually, deadly .If you enjoy the swordplay of ghost games and want to be able to engage with them more I highly recommend it.
While there are still a healthy number of options, there aren't quite as many varied and unique builds to use for each class but the ones which are there are are richer abd more flexible give lots of opportunities for skill expression.
Like any game it does have some quirks and I guarantee you will see more than a handful of people who can't tolerate opinions differing from their own and will choose to disagree by behaving in exactly the way people expect entitled gamers to behave; retorting with half-baked knowledge of game design philosophy, complaining about feeling mistreated because the an aspect of the game isnt exactly how they, personally, wanted it to be, whining about minor or rare bugs by blowing them wildly out of proportion, or just launching into personal attacks against me because they never put the effort into maturing their conflict resolution skills.
After tilting and those windmills for the past few months I've learned its best to just ignore them. The game evolved, they didnt.

Im playing GOT legends daily since 2 years and still exploring little details...still finding out new stuff ive never heard of before. They put so much effort to this game. I hope it never dies.

Me too! I've not been playing that long, "only" ~300 hours in game, but yesterday I swung off a new swinger I'd never swung off before in... whatever the first Survival map is called (me and my mate just call it "boat boat boat").

Been proud of my gotl teams lately they haven't been quitting there may well be some good players up for Fall raids etc.

Yotei is worth getting if you wanna play yotei. The legends in unbalanced. It looks cool has some fun moments but everything has boss health and just really only encourages one playstyle which is hunter/archer and never touch your sword. Some people like it but most people i know including myself just do not enjoy it.

Sequel is not worth getting for legends. If you like single player story yeah maybe though.
