Hi! I was admitted to the MSCS program at DLSU for Term 1, AY 2026–2027. I've already submitted my requirements, but I haven't enrolled yet.

I'm considering deferring my enrollment because I'm waiting for a scholarship opportunity. From what I understand, the St. La Salle Scholarship Grant for Graduates application appears to be closed for the upcoming Terms 2 and 3, so I'm considering enrolling instead in Term 1, AY 2027–2028.

My questions are:

1. Can I defer my admission even though I've already submitted my requirements but haven't enrolled yet?
2. If I defer until Term 1 of AY 2027-2028, will my current admission and DGAT result still be valid, or would I need to retake the DGAT/reapply?

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation with DLSU?

I'm considering deferring because enrolling this term would be financially difficult for me due to some significant upcoming expenses. I can technically enroll now, but I'd prefer to use this time to prepare financially and hopefully apply for the scholarship when it opens again.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with the deferment or the St. La Salle Scholarship. Thank you!

1. How difficult is the AGAT? Should I prepare intensively for it? What areas or topics does the exam usually cover?

Why is DLSU putting in non-functioning options in Archers Hub? I’m trying to drop a course soon as possible so I can still get the 100% refund but this function in Archers Hub is not working. Wala naman nilagay sa guide on manual workaround. Anyone had this experience?

Has anyone else experienced an error while registering through the student portal? I was able to secure MM ETHICS earlier, but the portal wouldn’t let me select my second subject. Now, MM ETHICS has disappeared, and the page says, “Registration is not yet open.”

Hi! Want to enroll in the DLSU MBA program and I know I'm already late for the 1st term because I decided not to enroll muna this sem bcs of family issues but I think I'll bet set by January

To current students or alumni of the program, do you think enrolling by the 2nd or 3rd term would be disadvantageous or it doesn't matter naman which term you start?

Current concerns:

- Graduation. Understanding na I'll probably be delayed, does DLSU hold graduation rites or commencement exercises (sa PICC?) every after term or only after the last term?

- Networks. Would making friends or networking be harder if I'll have to join in on already existing circles who have presumably met each other during the 1st term?

- Housing/Rent. I've seen condos/apts for rent na nagpopost on FB groups around August which had good deals from 13-18k, am I still going to get a good deal by January?

So I have personal gaming laptop na charger dependent so nakakatakot in the long run if nasira and I have work laptop na ginagamit ko now for grad school paper too and zoom meetings so I am thinking if worth it pa ba ipad or naghahanap lang ako ng reason para magpabili sa parents haha thanks

I'm planning to enroll sa DLSU MBA next year but I have a full time job sa Makati. I heard may mga times sa weekdays na pinapapasok daw onsite, and the classes are from 6 pm to 9 pm every weekday (besides the Sat class)?

For those working sa Makati/BGC, sa DLSU Taft campus ba ang onsite classes? I searched sa google and may DLSU branch daw sa Makati... may mga MBA profs bang nagka-class doon? According sa google, for MBA program din daw ang Makati branch, altho I'm not sure if optional ba ang pagtake ng class between Makati or Taft campus, or may certain location talaga for the MBA program.

I'm worried about the travel time from work (though once a week lang naman ang pagpunta namin sa office 😅).

Based on your experience and personal preference, is it better to get an iPad Air or Macbook Air for grad school? For context, I don’t have any of the two. I have an iPad and Macbook I use for work. But I want to separate of course my personal needs and not use work resources.

hi! i’m a bs instrumentation and control engineering graduate (batch 2025) and i’ve been working as a document control specialist for a little over a year now.

i’m currently planning to take an ms in management engineering at UST. honestly, i know it’s pretty far from my bachelor’s degree and even from what i’m currently doing for work but i really want to grow my career and eventually climb the corporate ladder. i feel like a master’s in management engineering could help me develop skills that would be useful if i want to move into management or leadership roles in the future.

i’ve already read through the program information on the university website, but i’d really rather hear from people who are actually taking the program or have already graduated from it.

are there any current students or alumni here who could share what i should expect from ms in management engineering? how’s the workload and difficulty? what are the subjects like? and for those who are already working, how manageable is it with a full-time job?

I'm a BS psych who's thinking about going to an MA but I don't think my odds are good so I wanted to get opinions.

I graduated late 2017, got pregnant at 2018 (lmao, nagtapos lang) then as we all know covid and lockdown hit at 2019.

I got like 6 months work experience pre-covid, not even course related.

I have been a SAHM since I gave birth and now, with my youngest turning 1 this 2026, we decided that they'll be our last child.

I have always wanted to pursue further studies but decided to prioritize our children, grateful that my partner can provide with his sole income. We had a talk the other day and then the topic turned to me going back to studies like I always wanted and he said he was fine supporting me if I decided to go for it.

But realistically, can I? I feel napagiwanan. HAHAHA.

Some grad school requires work experience so I'm not going to even try there. I'm honestly thinking of Mapua because I am an alumni and I believe I read they can do hybrid and since we don't have a helper for my child, I think that's the best for me or are there other suggestions?

This is for next year or maybe the year after next when I can enroll for playschool for our youngest.

i’m enrolling for masters in marketing communications program in dlsu and i’m required to take the coursework (basic subjs) first since my undergraduate degree isn’t in business

for context, i previously worked in advertising and my current role is also in marketing. the only reason i’m hoping to take the other courses first kasi sila lang ung scheduled ng saturday and because i’m still new at my current job and i can only request a flexible work arrangement upon regularization

I'm currently 1 year into my job as a graphic designer in an advertising agency. I graduated BFA Advertising and am interested in taking MA Communication in UPD.

Normally as a BFA grad, MFA yung common masters route (as I've also observed with my undergrad profs, if hindi MFA, usually MBA naman), but I'm not really interested in the 'fine' fine arts and don't see myself taking a masters there kasi more on art forms na talaga yon (e.g. painting, sculpting) that deviate from digital since I'm inclined to graphic design, hence, UPD's MA Comm really piqued my interest when I looked into it.

My career goals is to climb the corporate ladder as a Creative Director, and eventually be a part-time professor (probably later in my career) as I've been really inspired by my undergrad profs na nakakapag-share ng industry knowledge nila since mas full-time sila sa Advertising industry.

Any students here in MA Comm who can vouch for the program and if it would help in my career in the long run? And how hard is it to get in? I have excellent academic credentials from my undergrad but I'm not sure if sapat na yon for me to be accepted in somewhere as prestigious as UPD. I have read that UPD is more focused on research which I feel confident in naman since I did my thesis solo during my undergrad.

I'm also scared since alam naman natin na OT culture sa Ad agencies lalo na pag creatives ka, so naisip ko rin baka mahirapan ako mag-part time masters aside from my full-time now as a a graphic designer.
