Best way to learn grammar as an adult that never learned properly in school
I’m American and sometimes my grammar is incorrect. My friend had pointed out that I use have/has, does and doesn’t the wrong way as an example. I went to a school in low income neighborhood so a lot of us had bad grammar. Most of the people in my family also have bad grammar, especially my parents. They would mispronounce words a lot and I had to unlearn some of those things, usually when it’s pointed out by people. Which is very embarrassing I want to apply for a corporate role but there’s no way they will take me seriously or hire me if I’m making basic mistakes. I’m 32 btw.
