If you haven't heard yet, we're putting on a free dinner every month for the men in our community. Here's the details:

Location: Roots Gastrohub

Date: Sept 1st and every first Tues of the month

Time: 6-8 pm

Why?: Because we know how hard it is to find community and support as men and there are a lot of stigmas surrounding our mental health. We just want to break those barriers. We also believe that mentally healthy men are a net positive for the community as a whole. We're better equipped to take care of our loved ones when we take care of ourselves and have a good group of friends around us.

No commitments are required but we do have a couple of asks for attendees. First, no politics or religion. Both topics are polarizing. We're trying to come together and unite, not divide. Second, this is a sober space, however, everyone is welcome. Third, this is NOT therapy. We're happy to help point you in the right direction if you need help, but we aren't here to diagnose or even tell you what to do. Fourth, bring an appetite. Enzo's Italian restaurant has graciously agreed to provide the food at no cost! Give them and Roots a shout!

Hey y'all, I'm moving soon, and I have some books that I think other people would like to read. Is there any little free libraries in GJ? I live near downtown. I could always donate to a thrift store but I'd rather people be able to read them for free.

Need a recommendation for a general dentist as well as an oral surgeon for wisdom tooth extraction, preferably one that can do anastesia and knock me out.
