Collection / Shelfie / Haul Started this April and that's what I got so far
Also read 2 things online, waiting for absolute martian manhunter vol 1/2 and under the red hood to come with the mail.
Next month I want to expand outside DC and read more stuff from image and dark horse.

Just finished Absolute Martian Manhunter after seeing it recommended in this sub so many times and it did not disappoint. The artwork and story blend together so well. How did you like The Long Halloween? I was at the store choosing between that and Hush the other day and just ended up leaving.

My favourite comic.
Absolute cinema. A self contained story that got me to truly understand what it means to be batman.

I read the first chapter of 8 billion genies and it seems so great I NEED to read more of it. Also I read one hellboy story and I want to learn more. Any other recommendations?

What appeals to you? This is a great community and most if not everyone has oodles of recommendations, and I'm sure love to talk about it with nearly anyone.

I am not sure yet. I generally prefer shorter self contained stories so far. What about you ?

I have a wide intrest cultivated over years. Superheroes, horror, sci fi, fantasy, comedy, crime, noir, supernatural. Short contained stories work for me too. My main criteria is Do I enjoy it? And then I take a chance, I've had my share of let downs but compared to the wins they are entirely neglectable.

One series I always seem to recommend, for good reason is Chew from Image comics and my absolute favorite writer is Ed Brubaker, you just can't go wrong with Brubaker.
