Grok suddenly stops loading all my chats and imagines. Is anyone experiencing the same?

That's right! Using Imagine>Video, at 99% it says "Server failed to respond" but still used up credit! No output. WTH is this - sick of this stupid f-ing scam platform and their daily brand new ways to scam you. 👎

It’s become very clear that the video performance for grok imagine has been greatly downgraded, before grok was great at taking long prompts, making the video very creatively with great motion and performance by the subjects in the video, remember those days? Today I realized how lack lustrous imagine video is now, very slow motions and simple movements as well, it lost its edge, its talent, its wow effect, remember how impressed you were by grok video? So my question is when exactly did this happen? Will it stay like this? Is this a sign that grok imagine video may be coming to an end? They downgraded the grok companions as well before discontinuing them

Has anyone else experienced a sudden and drastic degradation in Grok's non-English output recently?

Grok has always been visibly poorer at handling non-English languages compared to other models, but lately, it has become nearly incomprehensible at times. It feels like some aggressive quantization or a heavy English-centric alignment tax just kicked in.

Here is what I’m seeing consistently:

• Missing words: Every other sentence seems to drop crucial words, causing the syntax to fall apart.
• Stunted phrasing: It defaults to very short, robotic, and unnatural sentences. Tends to severely overuse verbless sentences.
• Blatant English structural calques: Everything is visibly and poorly translated directly from English in real-time.
• Over-generation & under-translation: It forces extra words to match the English word count (e.g., struggling with phrasal verbs by generating unneeded reflexive pronouns) or drops information entirely when a direct 1:1 translation doesn't exist.
• Literal translation of idioms: Completely ignores the target language's idiomatic usage.

Is it just me, or is the model currently being forced to "think" in English and hastily translate the output to save compute? I'd love to know if others are seeing this severe downgrade across different languages.

So at the start of August when all that legal stuff hit grok was dog crap then like 2 weeks in bam back to normal like nothing ever happened made a few hundred images just fine and now when I got my limit back this week back to how it was at the start of the month unusable crappy images and my prompts don’t even work at all now god I hate grok so bad it’s so shitty

I have three accounts to switch between them when I run out of messages. I previously paid for Grok Premium on my main account, but I had to stop paying.

On my oldest account, I ran out of messages after sending just one, with no warning about when I would get more. According to Reddit, it was a bug, like so many others, that only affects free users. But gradually, more people were affected.

I was like this for a week, but now my other two accounts are affected, and I can't send messages from any of them. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or any alternatives? If anyone else is experiencing this, please let me know.

P.S. The browser (on my PC) is also affected; it's not an app or Android issue.

I wonder, who is paying for grok? I think it is mostly used to feed troll farms on social media.

I've found that when I keep making adjustments to the same image a dozen or so times in Grok Imagine, these weird wrinkly splotches appear on the later images. I sometimes can fix these simply by bluntly asking Imagine to "clean up the coloration on the woman's dress" but sometimes it takes more than that. I was wondering what's causing this and how I might better prevent it or treat it when it happens.

The first image I've provided here is pretty early in the iteration process I did for this image (though it wasn't the first). But after I adjusted the woman's expression and posture, added and removed some outdoor furniture and decorations, and adjusted the shadows a bit, the colors and textures on the woman, her clothes, and the building around her started growing these splotches like some sort of fungal growth.

Newer items like the bench weren't affected, and simpler items like ground on the walkway or already nebulous things like the distant clouds and trees weren't affected, either. I think it most powerfully affects things with a lot of detail or complicated lighting.

So what is this, and what do I do about it?

Is it normal that Grok is becoming repetitive? When I ask it for prompts, most of the time after several prompts they keep being the same—this is obvious because they have the exact same character count. Even though it confirms it's making a mistake and lying to me, it keeps repeating the same prompts, and the only way to fix it is to start a new chat.... 😰

The results are a bit more complex in events not just mannequins.

But obviously it's not even close to be enough. Return to at least July but better May.

Let’s start with the assumption that artificial intelligence is very often abused. Obviously, NSFW modes and similar things were removed in order to “have a more contained community.” You probably made this change because of all the criticism surrounding it, maybe even lawsuits if we want to go that far, etc. Something every major company has faced at least once.

I’m not someone who abuses it. Yes, I’ve used NSFW for content too, but I kept it to myself and never shared it, because I know what revenge porn is, etc.

But obviously, listening to just one person out of 8 billion or more doesn’t make sense.

So why did you enable the option in the first place? This change you made was probably because you were simply fed up with it. What doesn’t make sense, though, is that I still keep seeing AI videos of girls dancing sensually or spicy videos on the Reddit community...

You ask it to generate an image, and it generates something completely random and nonsensical that has absolutely nothing to do with what you asked for.

It’s back again: Grok generates almost nothing but slow motion for 10-second videos. You can write 100 variations specifying "no slow motion," using "avoid", "fast" commands, and so on—but Grok just does slow motion. It’s terrible.

If I give Grok an image with more than two people, half the time it merges them weirdly.

Either one merges into another's body or their faces merge... super strange. This didn't happen before; I think they are running it on some kind of optimizations that produce this

Is it my imagination or has grok reduced the quality when you extend a video, i know it always did a little but now when getting anything over 20 seconds is almost unwatchable

So I am a subscriber to Supergrok because I love roleplay and RPGs in DC and Marvel worlds, but recently the responses and storytelling have become very bad and extremely frustrating to the point that I canceled my subscription and have been hesitant about whether I should renew my Supergrok subscription or not. Are the problems fixed today, and is it worth it or not?

She is dropping her T's at the end of some words like 'out' and generally doesn't sound as soft and proper as before. Anyone else had this sudden jarring change? Sounds like a different person.... I use her voice all the time via the Read Aloud feature

I'd really love to use Grok Bot as a Hermes user. Native X integration is very valuable. But being able to use a cheap model is even more valuable. I haven't tried Grok Bot yet but I heard it's now available on the $20 Cursor plan.

I asked Grok on which models that can be used inside Grok Bot and it said only Grok models. Can't even use Composer 2.5 which is a first class model in Cursor (and isn't even that cheap by today's standards). Most tasks inside Grok Bot will work with a cheap model as you're doing mostly routine tasks. Not allowing to use cheap models is a huge miss. I'd assume that using Grok 4.5 on Low thinking would be the cheapest way to run it while 4.6 is much more token hungry for the same tasks. 4.6 is great for frontier tasks and I can't wait for 4.7 which I heard might just address the token consumption problems from 4.6. But there's no GPT Luna/DeepSeek V4 Flash/GLM 5.3 Flash tier competitor from Grok which is a shame....
