I’ve seen this one myself and wonder why anyone would pay this price. It will be there for awhile

Right. They tried telling me maybe they could come off a couple hundred 🤣

If you’re in the market for one keep looking. A new one pops up all the time, I watch the market on these all the time almost as a hobby😂 very much manifesting when I get to own one honestly. Goal is to have an R35 in 2 years

get on it man. i’m guessing this one will be 190k in two years :)

Maybe this one, but not all of them. DBA’s won’t even come close to that til the R36 is here and how people’s reception of it are. That’s all speculation at the end of the day.

As a my13 owner it doesn’t hurt my feelings that the price is going up.

Same. I own a '14 w/ 40k on the motor. I have zero plans to let her go.

Maybe if it has zero miles and $40k cash in the trunk.

Ive been searching a long time and I cant believe these prices either. The problem is, and this is shocking me, that each week i see cars disappear online so someone is buying them. Ive called some dealers and most dont move too much on their price so people are still paying a lot for these.

I sold my 2014 BE GTR just before covid hit in 2019 ish for 75k. Make me feel like I should have waited 😀

The market is broken.

These people are delusional

Yeah that is 40-50k too high.

And prices have been settled for awhile on everything but the newest model years. Dealers asking for dumb prices will always be there but if you track actually sales on the public sites the CBA and DBAs have settled and/or havn't went up at all.

These will always be around 90-100k for low miles and 60-75k for mid to higher miles a new model isn't going to change that so much. The insane prices of the most recent models will cool and probably come down some with miles and years.

Lol even for a GTR that shit is ridiculous. Guess it’ll be a LONG time before a GTR. Too povery stricken for one and ended up with the poor man’s GTR, which I love to death.

I think the peak will be when the last fast and the furious comes out, and then a slow decline.

cant wait until the R36 is finally released so the R35 prices will normalize

5

u/Z-Butta 7d ago

Whos to say they will normalize tho? Especially if the R36 is a hybrid with numb feeling everything. It will just push the R35s even higher.

1

u/Lex_GS430 7d ago

can go either way, push prices lower or higher, my bet it will push prices lower based on what happened with the Corvette when the platform moved from front to rear engine, alot of nay sayers predicted the new platform would fail, however, it did the opposite, so I think the same will happen with the R36, if not oh well, I love the R35, but cant justify paying the absurd prices for one.

Corvettes are a bit different because they produce a fuck ton of them. However im with you on prices, some of the prices are def crazy. I feel the same about the R34 tho. 400k? Cmon now. I do think clean, low mile, unmolested R35 will still fetch a premium regardless.

👍🏽 Time will tell where prices will go

1

u/Z-Butta 7d ago

For sure. I would love for them to remain "somewhat attainable" so not everyone is priced out of the market.

Higher if R36 is hybrid. Look at Huracan

1

u/Caca_Face420 GT-R 2d ago

C7s retain their value better than c8s what are you talking about. If anything Porsche and Ferrari are better tells than corvette. Around 2015 production numbers for the GTR dropped to a couple hundred worldwide a year.

please..tell me more 🍿

u/Caca_Face420 GT-R 2d ago

Look at the used Huracan prices. They are still climbing and holding strong at $250+ because the Temerario released as a Hybrid. C7s still go for above MSRP over C8s.

Look at the era. It’s more likely that the R35 will be treated like the 90s NSX. Those still go for well over six figures

If the r36 comes out with a manual transmission the r35 prices will fall off the face of the earth

2

u/Z-Butta 7d ago

I dont disagree but lets be real, there's like a 0.1% chance of it being a manual

1

u/Novel-Yak1927 7d ago

Which is crazy bc it's pretty obvious that's what the people want

1

u/Z-Butta 7d ago

Yeah i mean i love manual, but im ok with autos as well. Plenty of fun cars are auto. I know older dudes who just cant drive a manual anymore. So its certainly not everyone.

1

u/Novel-Yak1927 7d ago

I just feel that bc the skylines and gtrs are more of an "enthusiast" car with a very deep enthusiast base dating back very far that a throwback to a manual transmission for this line of car would do insanely well. Now that r32's-r34's are considered classics they have been getting imported to the u.s. like crazy so I'd imagine a modern version of the gtr in manual would sell easily for just about any asking price.

1

u/ydw1988913 7d ago

It's not, even 911 manual take rate is way lower than auto

Thats like saying the R34 market crashed because the R35 came out. It just didnt happen. In a world where most of us enthusiasts are chasing a raw analog feeling, if the R36 is some dead feeling hybrid, everyone will crave the older R35s even more. Happens with plenty of other cars.

You are right with it being imported (rare) and manual for sure. It was a bit of an apples to oranges comparison by me but still the general idea.

Ehh idk, that seriously depends on whats done to it. Ive driven stock R34s and it was incredibly underwhelming lol

u/riaKoob1 7d ago

Do we have an ETA on when it will be out?
