The Toneking Royalist is where I stopped and finally realized that I was done searching for the right one. This is a very solid board. Here is mine. I am currently looking for a Multi FX pedal that can play multiple FX at once.

Very cool. I was looking at the royalist too but I got a great deal on this Imperial and it takes pedals super well. And I find I can get close to a "marshall" sound with the chase bliss EQ.

Then I have a supro 1x15 IR pack loaded to the rhythm channel on the imperial and it's unreal for Black Keys, swampy, muddy bluesy sound

On a multi FX pedal, check out the Empress Zoia. My noodle brain probably wouldn't be able to figure it out but from my understanding it can chain multiple effects (up to a limit). Can also be used as a synth/pad. Very cool if you've the brain for it but I prefer fiddling with my knobs.

I had the imperial and loved it but traded it for my Royalist I can get the clean tone I want and a really awesome cranked marshall mixed with fuzz or distortion. Oh man, I do not like menus. Honestly I'm kind of looking at the Chroma Console to fill that hole in my board. I don't have the brain power or time to learn a pedal.

How are you liking the Nucleo? Tempted to pick it up as a studio / synth verb myself.

It's very wide. Not an always on pedal for me, I play a lot of blues/rock. But when I want to mess around and make noise/experiment it's very cool.

Nice to layer some of it's room reverb on top of the spring reverb from the tone king/Volante. The hall/reactor reverbs are crazy big and then the added mod/pitch/flux adds a lot of strange and dreamy overtones for slower "here's my mood" noodling.

I picked up an op1 field a while back, put it through the Nucleo and it sounded awesome. That being said I'm not a synth guy

How do you feel about the volante? I am debating getting the timeline or the volante, hard to decide.
Also hows the somersault ? Can you do good regular choruses with it?

I love the volante. No menu diving compared to the timeline from what I understand. It has presets but I use it in its live mode so what you see is what you get. All in all probably is probably less flexible than the Timeline but it does the exact couple of echo types I like so well.

On the Somersault, yeah, you can get standard chorus sounds out of it for sure but theres a bit of colouration to the sound, brighter or darker depending what switch you use. I tend to keep the rate setting quite high and I have it in the non-latching loop of the TripleGraph so I can just rapidly tap in and out the resulting wobble here and there.

I'm very much an amateur player btw so take this with a grain of salt.
