What are some of your favorite thc drinks from the nslc? I'm especially interested in any that don't have a strong weed taste.

Bubble Kush Orange Soda - if you remember the old 'orange mcdonalds drink' it reminds me of that, zero weed taste.

That orange soda comparison is spot on, it really does taste like the old school orange drink. I was surprised how much it didn't have that skunky aftertaste

They are my favorite brand. I like all their flavours. Their new one Tahiti Trip isn't bad either. Like a fruit punch cream soda. The 7 up and Root Beer I like more than Orange but I'll take any.

Bubba Kush root beer is insanely good. The strong root beer flavour is also good at masking any potential weed taste. I find lighter flavours like lime always taste like weed

Not trying to be annoying but I read the nutrition on that and it has like close to 50 grams of sugar. Higher than a regular soda. If you are diabetic or watching intake (like myself) I wouldn't recomend it.

The Bubble Kush Root Beer is our go to. Never noticed a weed taste with any brand, honestly. You’re probably good to pick any based on your flavour preferences.

We make ice cream floats with the root beer ones 🤤

It has less of a “root beer” flavour than regular soda I find. My wife hates root beer but loves this one.

The VERSUS Black Cherry Seltzer is a good one, doesn't have the awful lingering taste like a lot of them do

XMG tropical cream float is 10/10. I wish I could get it as a non weed drink too because it’s that delicious 😋Like someone else said, they need to be cold to be best. This one has CBG but I really enjoy that effect too

I know you are asking about NSLC options, but …. if you ever go to NB, they seem to regularly have deals on theirs in CannabisNB so if you buy a dozen they can end up being ~ $4/can. None I’ve had have ever been really weedy tasting.

While not available at the NSLC, try to get your hands on any flavour of Tweed Fizz. It basically tastes like sparkling water (the mango is awesome). I also like that it only has 5mg of THC, so I can have a second one later on if needed.

The best drink they ever had was a Xmas cider. It was out for one season and never came back

It sold out everywhere and I drove to Dartmouth from herring cove to pick up the last remaining few they had in the store. I asked if they were getting anymore in and the staff said everyone is asking that and they were told they were not going to restock and it had been discontinued.

To this day I'm still craving it lol

I think most of the drinks have the terpenes removed which takes the weed taste and aroma.

I've tried a couple and while I don't have a favourite from the LC, IME they taste way better when they're cold. At room temp, you get more of the weed taste.

Peach iced tea, mollo black berry and the sugar free dark cherry. All 3 are sugar free I believe or minimal sugar (1% or something). My wife loves the coconut mango or whatever they are, but I think they’re horrible. None of them really have the weed taste

I’ve liked the Bubble Kush Root Beer and the XMG Orange soda so far. I tried another XMG drink but wasn’t that much of a fan so I’ve forgotten which one it was.

Oh and the Summit Apple Pie but that seems to be Christmas time only maybe.

Liquids digest quicker than solids. Usually about 25-30 mins for me.

I’m wondering, how strong are the drinks ? have a vape and used to smoke joints, pretty decent tolerance, nslc edibles are too weak for me but I’ve never tried the drinks. Worth a try?

You’d be better off driving down the road 10 minutes where you can get a 400mg of concentrate for 25 dollars then you dilute it by pouring it over some sprite with ice you can make 20 20 mg drinks for the price of 4 of the 5mg ones at nslc

If you enjoy root beer, it's one of the flavours that genuinely tastes like the real deal as opposed to some other drinks that just taste like lemonade but shittier. I forget the brand in particular that I enjoyed but others have given recs.

Both Mollo's, and Sweet Justice Root Beer. Mollo used to have a non-alc thc beer, and it was so good. That was my favorite of all.
