Fix/replace this mirror glass?

This mirror has a crack down the middle of the glass. I looked to see if I could replace just the glass and that was looking to be $200. The whole mirror was only about $80

I don’t like just chucking things in the trash to sit in landfills but is it even worth it to fix?

Find a glass shop and just ask them to quote you. If that's expensive, find someone selling a mirror for cheap on FB and ask a glass shop if they can cut to size.

Edit: I'm a little slow today... You've obviously gotten a quote because you said it would be $200. I'd try the FB route before you toss it, but you'll just have to make sure the mirror is big enough to cut to your size.

If you can find a cheaper circular mirror that is the same size or smaller you could swap that out, especially if there is a solid back to it like the wood of the edge. Otherwise, it's not like you can just glue it, the crack will still be there.

Two options, best one first:
1. Take out the broken mirror (there should be some sort of clips holding into the frame). Use the mirror as a template to cut out a piece of mirrored acrylic.
2. Get a thick piece of paper, put it over the frame opening and rub the edges to mark the frame size. Trim it with scissors slightly smaller than the opening. Use it as a template to mark and cut a piece of mirrored acrylic to fit inside the frame.
