I’d love if peace didn’t come at such a high cost

You’re living the dream I dreamt of in my early 20s.

If you don't fight for your peace you will have none

Similarly, "If you long for peace, prepare for war."

It's not that we want to fight, but, in the times we live in, if we don't stand up for ethics and democracy, we will lose our freedoms, then our lives.

I'd rather learn to not care about carrying that weight with stoicism and resolve. Not apathy towards core values.

I care that I toil for what's good/honest/free, I don't care if that hurts the dow.

But... That's just like... My opinion, man.

My eldest brother doesn’t understand why I have had to limit contact with him and his family, but I’ve taken time to reflect and all through my life there has been a consistent lack of respect and consideration towards me.
Sorry mfckr but good people get tired too, and your access to me has been revoked.

I was in my first serious relationship in years. She was like my best friend & I brought her in to my inner circle. Vacations, nice dinners, quality time. We were like best friends but then something happened. Back in May she started pushing me away, cheated and gaslit. It’s been 4 months. I still can’t sleep, I wake up in a panic, I started drinking and my work is going to sh—.
I regret letting her in.
