just installed ios 27
this update is amazing, also since i have EU iphone i can still do resolution control via the cam app and that was my biggest fear. the super liquid glass that i have set looks impeccable and my apps launch way faster compared to ios 26 even with indexing still occurring.
still sum stutters here and there but hey this is a beta so i doesn’t really matter it was expected.
my rating: 9/10

Did you do it on your main phone? I have been hesitant

True! Usually, the first beta released in August is acceptable and stable enough to be installed

Apps still aren’t optimized for 27. And won’t be till the update is officially launched.

True but I've been running the iOS 27 beta since Beta 1 and I haven't really had any problems with third party apps except for the occasional crash but that's happened on the first party apps as well

Got tired of waiting so I hopped on the PB too. Absolutely not as snappy as iOS 26.6.1 as folks claim. But it’s still indexing so let’s see.

How are you enjoying the new Siri who is even slower than before? Or the new disappearing autocorrect feature?? Amazing, no??

LOL could you expand a bit on those 2? Still on 26.6.1, but just curious.

Any Siri request just give me six spinning fits that go around and around and around for about five seconds or longer before the response or action takes place. This is for requests where Siri is retrieving information from the Internet as well as actions on the device. This is an iPhone 17 so it should have plenty of power.
The keyboard issue is just as described. In any app that takes keyboard input, the autocorrect bar will go blank and then typos abound because there are no longer an my spelling suggestions or autocorrections taking place. Very frustrating.
But while the beta works just fine performance wise, there is really nothing here interesting enough to have given up virtually flawless autocorrect and the slow-as-molasses Siri that doesn’t really seem much better.

That’s concerning, given I’m on iPhone 17 too. And on top of that I use Slide to Type all the time.

Sorry to hear that. 16 pro public beta and have had zero of those issues you’ve stated or any. If anything, it works better than 26 especially with battery life.

The stuttering may go down once indexing finishes
