Question/Help Free overlays
Looking to move away from myracingapps since it doesn’t get support anymore and has been wigging out lately. What suggestions for the best free overlay apps out there (if any)

I am the main author but there are / have been over 40 engineers working on this project. Its very actively developed. Its open-source and very community driven.
You can check out its progress from the release notes here: https://github.com/tariknz/irdashies/releases

I've been using paid iOverlay for a couple years now, but I feel like it's slowly being abandoned. No new features in months. I've been keeping an eye on irDashies and been trying it out sporadically as new features come in. I'm not quite ready to switch yet, but it looks like you have addressed a lot of the shortcomings that affected me. I'll be following along more closely now. Thank you, and I always appreciate open source devs

The only thing missing for me is I like to have a full standings list on the left side of my ultrawide. Other than that yeah everythign is covered.

Track Impulse. The radar spotter, relative, standings, fuel calculator and the dashboards are all in the free tier, permanently, no trial clock. It gets updated most weeks and covers iRacing plus twelve other sims.

What features do you want exactly?
The new in-game UI is getting more and more features that used to be available only through 3rd party overlays

Track map, fuel, pit speed warning, relative
I do spotting as well and I can’t have this stuff up without blocking half the screen with having all the other stuff on the screen. With overlays I can have a full screen and see everything while spotting

The base game UI has all that stuff

The only real shortcoming is the fuel calculator. It can be pretty bad in multiclass, and third party overlays can give you more accurate and customizable info

I haven't had much of a chance to use it in endurance yet, but in the oval leagues I'm in it works really well.

Edge. No competition for overlays
Ive tried a chunk of them ioverlay Racelabs paid and non paid IRdashies
Now on edge. I do pay for the extra features,
You wont be dissapointed !! They are easy to lay out, sticks of options and dashes available, plus rob and the team and super helpful to fix anything you are struggling with!
Then aswell as crewchief + g61

Edge Overlays is the best out right now imo.
