This is just a detail I noticed, but I haven't seen anything discussing it. If Steven and Carly's 100-day kiss was next month after his return to Seattle, then Steven and Tori's 100-day kiss was earlier than that. That means that Steven started dating Tori before he started dating Carly, making Carly (without her knowledge) the other woman. This doesn't diminish Carly's experience because she did discover that her boyfriend secretly had another girlfriend, which is always a huge betrayal no matter whom he dated first (and she didn't even know who was the first girlfriend until she talked to Tori and learned about the latter's 100-day kiss that night). I thought this was an interesting detail that no one seemed to have talked about yet.

I feel bad that Dave got his laptop destroyed because of Fleck, but I do agree that Dave’s dad was out of line when he destroyed Dave’s laptop with a hammer. Yelling at Dave is understandable, but destroying his laptop was bullshit because he could have grounded Dave instead, contact Fleck’s parents to bill them to remove the paint from his car, and could have told Dave that Fleck either isn’t welcomed in the house anymore or he could hang out with him at his place.

It’s understandable on one part for Dave’s Dad to not like Fleck with how it was shown that Fleck did cause issues before like accidentally cutting Dave that caused him to bleed. He could have billed Fleck’s parents instead of taking his anger out on his son.

It’s weird how they had Spencer chalk it up to a hallucination she was only hiding at certain times when Spencer had people come see her to mess with him. Clearly some irresponsible parent was letting their child wander around the building. it seemed like it was just a typical lazy Schneider’s Bakery plot with no real purpose beyond being ‘random’ and a frustrating non-resolution. I was hoping they would finally resolve that and reveal who she was in the revival but they didn't we were robbed of a great resolution to this day that little girl's identity still hasn't been revealed

Hi! I know that the target audience is primarily teenagers, and I know that most, if not all, of you here are adults. Many of you probably watched it during your childhood or teenage years, and some of you may have even rewatched it when you got older. But for someone like me who never watched it growing up, would it still be enjoyable and worth watching, or is it simply no longer aimed at someone my age?

I remember watching this episode live when I was younger and asking myself why Freddie didn’t like Fred. Looking back now, I actually agree with him. Fred really wasn’t all that funny lol.

What really made me mad was Fred quitting his videos just because Freddie said he didn’t like them. Like damn, it was one person’s opinion 😭 Freddie wasn’t telling everybody else not to watch Fred or trying to get him to quit. He just didn’t think he was funny.

Then Freddie gets picked on, kicked out of clubs, and Sam keeps bullying him over it like he did something wrong. That whole situation was so unnecessary.

I know it was supposed to be funny, but watching it now, I’m definitely on Freddie’s side. He shouldn’t have been treated like that just because he had a different opinion.

To me could be perfect.

It really baffles me that literally nobody had respect for the Shay’s household, especially in the episode iBeat the heat. I really wish they were both more assertive in this episode lol, I know everyone was all sweaty and everything but they just inviting themselves in without any regard of the owners

And there’s so many other episodes where people have no respect, like iStakeout, iSam’s Mom, iGet banned, iScream on Halloween etc. Carly and Spencer are really nice and patient people, honestly everyone would’ve been banned I was them lmao😭

rewatching the show for the first time since i was a kid, and it was literally my first thought when i got to this episode. carly was very clearly joking when she called her out, and i don't think it would be believable at all for her and shelby to have a real fight. now sam is known for her feisty personality and getting into actual fights and winning so it would be a much more believable fight, and despite the webshow being called icarly she's basically as famous, like luigi, so wouldn't even be less marketing potential.

besides making more sense in-universe, i also just think it would be a far more interesting and less bad plot for the episode itself, have sam and shelby originally friendly gonna fake it mostly but maybe sam gets too into the trash talk and actually upsets her, or maybe they can't decide who gets to win in their mock fight and out of self-confidence from both of them now they're gonna fight for real, carly tries and fails to be the mediator and other shenanigans ensue.

overall just think this difference would make for a better special.
