Hi I am in a similar place to you, But I don’t see the ascension upgrades tou have in the bottom of the ascension tree, how do you get them, and are they useful?

The large bottom right section is for defeating the first boss and buying his soul for 5e51/5 Sd coins. I think you can fight him after building the mill and the tavern. The botton right section is from unlocking the wind dash in the tower, after building the orchard And the bottom middle is from buying the coimbo shield from the lounge. Hope this helps!

Like beside the grapple hook. Also about progress, it’s a long grind, you should get provisions and then grind for collateral.

Definitely push for the itiniary, it opens the door to crafting a bunch of new armory items, and also some excellent and option chance upgrades. On a related note, getting your hands on an excellent sword and saving albert would be very helpful - the reward helps with higher hp enemies and dark-type enemies, which should both start appearing soon
