Beyond the obvious offensive highlights and transition plays, the biggest thing that’s stood out to me lately is how much tighter the team's defensive communication has gotten!!!!

Early in the season, you could see a lot of hesitation on perimeter switches and late help side rotations. But over the last stretch, the recovery speed on skip passes and boxing out under the rim looks night and day. Everyone seems to be trusting their assignments much more instead of over committing.

Who do you think has made the biggest leap on the defensive end specifically over this second half of the season??

I recently moved to Berlin and didn't know the FIBA world cup was going to be played here. I'm a huge fever and CC fan since 2024 (I've been watching WNBA a bit prior to that), and I was able to secure a ticket close to the court for their game vs Italy next Sunday. It was always one of my dreams to get to watch CC play, hopefully she gets a lot of minutes in her game.

Yes yes I'm also excited for Aliyah Boston to play.

Does anyone know if non-season ticket holders are able to purchase playoff tickets during a presale or before they officially go on sale?

I’m looking on Ticketmaster now, and it looks like a presale is already happening. The resale prices have been insane, so I’m hoping to stay ahead of it and buy the standard tickets (if possible).

Can someone clue me in on what assistant coach Briann January was yelling at Caitlin about on a break? Whst would the conversation be like. Stop scoring? Pass better? So and so hasn't got a lot of points yet? I am with those that noted our all star 3 looked down.

How is no one here talking about this? If it was just the players involved that would be one thing but they're currently the 4th and 5th seeds. The set up couldn't have been written up any more perfectly.

Does anyone else remember Erica Wheeler celebrating and hyping up CC from the bench? Her energy was so high she was drug tested a few times? LOL she was absolutely a great vet for CC to learn from.

I noticed lately that Lexi and Sophie are picking up the energy. Love to see it! I hope more of the team gets into the sideline energy, and it picks up for more of team on the floor.

In her 5th road game in a week and 3rd in 4 days, Caitlin Clark with 37 points and 10 assists. That young lady's toughness is, and has been, underrated.

I muted the audio from the tip off. It was fantastic not listening to the ungame commentary. Had some nice music playing instead. It did not detract from my enjoyment one bit.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm from LA and had my first real experience with the Lakers announced by Chick Hearn. He was a consummate broadcaster who did both the Radio and the TV feeds at the same time. No idle social commentary or unnecessary tangents. Yes, there was a color guy (analyst) alongside to offer game related comments. This is why it is sometimes annoying to listen to the current commentary that is not entirely about the game. They rarely go into detail about what is exactly happening on the floor. When Chick called a game, you didn't even need to have eyes on the screen to picture exactly what was going on. His words were enough to "see" it all in your minds eye.

1. To win the FIBA championship you have to play 7 out of 10 days. Why put our stars through that right before the playoffs.
2. We are 90% through the WNBA season lets finish the WNBA season first.
3. What if heaven forbid a star gets injured playing these games. It is a more physical style of basketball in FIBA freedom of movement does not exist.
4. Sending our stars and coaches overseas when they should be getting ready for the playoffs.
5. I think because of this long break there is a potential for teams to get out of rhythm going into the playoffs.

On a silly note maybe, the Fever can use the twenty days to learn how to play defense again 109 points is not cutting the mustard.

I've been wanting to get out to a game all season but just haven't been able to find the time. Friday is finally a day where the Fever play and it aligns with my schedule, so I decided to look into tickets and...yikes.

I acknowledge the Fever are the 'hottest ticket' in the WNBA, but these prices are outrageous. I could get a nosebleed seat for a Cleveland Cavaliers playoff game last season (I live in Ohio, near the OH/IN stateline) for a little less than these listings.

Is this the norm for this season? Or do prices go down closer to the game? If that's the case, I'll check back on Friday.
