This is my custom physics engine with ball rolling, magnetism, gravity fields, laser with convex/concave lenses, portals, fluid simulation, destructible terrain and more. The whole game was built from it's own level editor.

Just opened the Steam page. Demo coming next month.

After one year of development, I'm incredibly happy to finally have the Trials of Liberation DEMO live on Steam!

What started as a simple idea grew into something much bigger than I originally expected.

The demo is finally available for FREE on Steam!

I'd love to hear what you think! Whether it's the puzzles, the progression, the visuals, or anything else, feedback is always welcome.

Play the Demo

And if you enjoy it, adding the game to your wishlist would mean a lot!

Is there any workaround to give it a life in any official mobile game marketplace?

Any tips appreciated 😭

Trying to make a slow enemy feel more dangerous than a fast one

The Shovelguard relies more on range, area control and heavy attacks than speed.

The challenge was making the player feel pressured without simply making him faster.

This is our current version of the encounter.

What should happen after a player loses their first real-stake match?

I’m working on the post-match experience for AgarStake: https://agararena.space

It’s a browser arena with optional SOL-staked matches for adults. The difficult moment is not necessarily the first win—it’s the first loss.

The interface needs to explain the result and settlement clearly without immediately pushing someone toward another paid match. I’m considering showing a detailed result, a cooldown, a free-practice option and an easy session exit.

From a design perspective, what would constitute a responsible and useful loss screen? What should never appear there?

I’m the builder. Stakes can be lost, there are no guaranteed returns and regional restrictions may apply

Horror game about a submarine where you decide who goes out into the dark. Something Lovecraftian is waking up below.

Hi,
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4042160/Static_Dread_The_Submarine/

So this one's a submarine setting, Lovecraftian stuff going on beneath the ocean, and you're basically the guy deciding who on the crew goes to check on the noises in the dark. Everyone you send has their own stuff going on, their own breaking point, and it plays out over time.

  • Old school PSX style visuals, kind of grainy and unsettling.
  • You manage the crew (skill, stamina) instead of doing everything yourself.
  • Sonar segments where you're never 100% sure what's out there.
  • The story branches based on who you send and what you decide, not just dialogue choices.

My team and I worked on this for a long time, and it's finally out on Steam.

The inn keeper, by himself, isn't super impressive. It just looks like dialogue.

However, on the back-end, I created a whole ServiceProvider that will facilitate any NPCs that can be interacted with for the intent of commerce - Innkeepers, trainers, blacksmiths, vendors, etc.

Asura Cycles — isometric mobile action game, playtest build now open (iOS/Android)

Hi everyone! We're the team developing Asura Cycles, an isometric mobile action game currently in development.

Asura Cycles is built around fast, precise combat, with pacing designed to feel immediate and responsive rather than slow or grindy. The game is structured around short, replayable sessions, with progression systems that carry meaning between attempts rather than resetting each time you start over.

What's new in this build: reworked first-time experience, and a broad polish pass on combat feel, difficulty balance and overall pacing.

We've opened a free playtest build and would love for people here to try it and share their thoughts.

Happy to answer questions here or via DM.

Open Source 2D Map Editor: Custom keybindings are finally here

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello everyone:) I just released version 2.6.5 of TileMaker DOT and it will be a big one for some people.

For anyone unfamiliar with the project, TileMaker DOT is a free, open source 2D map editor I'm building. It uses a data first, ID based workflow and handles visual depth sorting automatically so you don't have to manage multiple layers for object heights.

This update focuses on custom keybindings:

-You can now remap any tool or menu shortcut via Edit > Keybinding Settings.

-Unbind hotkeys using Backspace or Delete during key capture.

-Restore original factory shortcuts with a single click.

-Keybinding preferences are saved automatically and persist across sessions.

Download it on:

Itch.io: https://crytek22.itch.io/tilemakerdot

GitHub: https://github.com/andrei-voia/TileMakerDOT

Video tutorial:

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fiajGU32Jg&list=PLmIeW9QZsW_M4BuJoOmxTR5y6rK-N7W3D

Give it a try and let me know if you have any feedback or run into any issues with the new remapping system. If the editor helps with your projects and you want to support development, a rating or a small donation on Itch for a cup of tea 🍵 is always appreciated.

Thanks you all for your support in the last half a year:)

This is an RPG open-world game where the main goal is to unite the villages, and eventually you can create your own village. It’s called The Villages of Rihla.

I’m sharing a bit of the combat and the design of the vegetation. I still need to add more VFX, but I’m trying to create a mixture of 3D and pixel art, let me know what you think thanks.

Hi, i am making a small roguelite game called The Varitav.

You play as a fox, fight enemies, collect abilities, and try to survive as long as you can.

It’s a simple pixel-art roguelite I’ve been working on.

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5049610/The_Varitav/

instagram: https://www.instagram.com/playvaritav/

I’d be happy to hear your thoughts!

Cataclym - hail to the cat \m/

Hello all, I'm an artist, musician and solo dev from Australia making a game just because I wanted to.

It's a solo hobby project that i've been working on for almost 2 years.

You play as a metalhead cat riding a nuclear warhead through a demonic heavy metal concert while chugging beer.

There is a demo available and this game will be part of Next Fest in October.

Hope you enjoy it 🤘🏾😄

If it clicks with you, come say hi 😀
