If only for a moment just BREATHE
We all have so much going on these days. Some things in our control and so many not. If I'm honest there is a Massive heaviness in the atmosphere and a LOT of us are fighting hard to hold it all together. So much death, so many scams, so much hate, so much jealousy and so much envy and so on. I do my best to not glorify those things because we deserve better. We deserve to think better, we deserve to be better, we deserve to laugh, we deserve to smile, we deserve to live and not just live but to THRIVE. IF NO ONE HAS TOLD YOU TODAY OR EVEN JUST LATELY, YOU MATTER AND YOU MATTER A LOT. I don't know you but if you are in a horrible or dark place right now just know that my best thoughts and wishes and prayers are with you. I will leave you with this; In all your living, don't forget to BREATHE. šš¾. You matter first.

I am still learning how to be here.
I think a lot about where Iām trying to get to which is a calmer and better me. A version of me that feels more healed and less all over the place. But Iām starting to realize I cannot rush past this part just because it feels hard. This version of me matters too.
The one rebuilding, figuring out life after divorce, and all the while trying to be a good dad and still not lose himself. Iām not where I want to be yet; however Iām here, and maybe that is part of it.

There are only three blocks of time
The block of a lifetime
The block of a year
The block of the opportunity
The single most important adage here is, "There's no time to lose."
Why?
Each of these blocks of time are only diminishing.
The frame of a lifetime is only diminishing.
The frame of the year is only diminishing.
The frame of the opportunity at hand is only diminishing.
- The moment makes you, and you make the moment.
- Where you don't belong, don't stay long.
- Make a trip with the wind if you are centered in true north.

What was the hardest decision to walk away from that turned out to be the best choice of your life?
āSometimes itās very hard to move on, but once you move on, youāll realize it was the best decision youāve ever made.
āFor a long time, I was terrified of letting goāwhether it was of a person, a job, or a situation that no longer served me. The fear of the unknown kept me stuck in a loop of comfort and quiet frustration. Taking that final step into the unknown felt overwhelming.
āLooking back now, pushing through that discomfort was hands down the absolute best decision Iāve ever made. The initial transition was tough, but once the dust settled, everything became crystal clear.
āHave you ever been through something similar? What was the hardest thing you had to walk away from, and how did it change your life?

I am still showing up even when I cannot see the change.
Some days I just want to know that all this effort is doing something. I want proof. I want to feel different already. Stronger. Better. More healed. More sure of myself. But that is not always how it goes. A lot of times, I do not notice the progress while I am in it. I just know I got up again. I know I made it through another hard day. I know I did not go back to some old version of me, even when part of me wanted to.
That may not look like much from the outside. But for me, it matters. I may not see the whole change yet. But I am still here, still trying, and Iām not counting that as nothing.
