The implosion of the Titan submarine (OceanGate) was so rapid that the pain wasn't even registered by the brain. They didn't feel anything at all. Utterly instantaneous.

The sound that thing must have been making prior to the implosion would have been terrifying. I only feel sorry for the 19-year-old who shouldn't have been there in the first place.
