Hi, im planning to buy starlink since out of reach ng local provider yung bahay namin sa province.

Nakita ko lang may demand charge if i order through residential pero if roaming wla syang demand surge. Can i purchase it through roaming to avoid the charges? Meron ba impact ito in the long run or any limitation that i may not know? Please advise

Hey so like many posts I've seen here, I was a user of Smart/TNT Unli data plans, it used to reach speeds of 120 mbps but can only reach 3mbps nowadays, so I switched to GOMO but that only reaches 10mbps but on most days it can barely even reach 5mbps, recently I reached out to PLDT from prepaid fiber and upon their visit here they said the same thing that our area doesn't have a nearby box. Converge said the same thing too. This is really getting frustrating as I had no problems with wifi before, I'm a Gamer and I constantly download new games whenever I finish my old ones, but nowadays I have to go to my Partner's place to download games over 50gb, any help?

Madalas nawawalan ng connection PLDT dito samin. Since full wfh ako, sobrang halaga sakin ng internet kaya kailamgan ko ng back-up. Ngayon kasi ang backup ko is Globe mobile data ko. Ang bilis maubos at medyo mabagal.

Here are my options:
1. Pocket wifi - pero ang issue ko dito is ang mahal
2. Another sim - dual sim ang phone ko kaya and vacant yung isang sim slot. If ito, anong magandang network and promo?

Hello, Ask lang po regarding sa installation ng Globe Gfiber postpaid. Ang tagal po kasi at naka dalawang reschedule nadin po, bali dapat po bukas is schedule na ng installation pero na-adjust nanaman daw sabi ng mother ko. San poba sila pwede macontact regarding sa installation date kung pwede po ipa-adjust? Almost 1 week nadin kasi di pa nainstall kala ko within 24 hours sya pero di pala.

So ayun nawalan kami ng Internet Last August 18, 2026 umabot sya ng 7 days na wala then nagkaroon and I ask for Rebates then Boom. Na approved.

Tapos nawala ulit yung connection namin until now.

So ayun share ko lang kung nag ffollow up kayu ng reconnection follow up din kayu ng rebates, lalo na kung umabot ng 3 days na wala pa kayung connection, para mabawasan naman yung binanabayad natin sakanila.

At kung LAHAT TAYO! magrerequest ng REBATES after disconnection atleast yun may MABABAWI tayu! HAHAHA

Hello, wala po kaming internet since 2PM yesterday. The messenger bot ran a diagnostic test and "detected" an outage pero wala namang nagrereklamo sa local fb group namin. Usually kasi may magpopost if may outage.

Today, naglinis ako ng desk ko so nagalaw yung modem, nung in-on ko na ulit nag steady green PON. Pero sobrang bagal ng download nasa 3-10Mbps lang at yung upload normal na 750Mbps. I tried experimenting by moving the cord na nagcoconnect ng modem sa white box and nag LOS ulit. Tried moving it around again for 5 minutes at nag steady PON ulit.

Mag aask lang po ng opinion, sa tingin nyo po ba yung problem is yung cord na nagcoconnect sa small box at modem? if so, ano po tawag sa cord na yon at pwede po ba i-DIY yon or do I have to wait for weeks para mapalitan ng PLDT.

Hello, nag-apply ako sa online website ng converge nung 22. May mga nagpunta na na mag-iinstall pero hindi kami mainstallan kesyo maulan (understandable) kesyo kulang sila ng manpower walang mag-aassist sa kalsada, etc. Nag-follow up na rin ako sa customer service pero until.

Question: dapat ba sa agent na lang ako nag-apply kasi mas mabilis dahil may mag-aassist kesa sa website nila?

Hi guys! Need ko ng tulong. Ilang days na ko super stressed since wala kaming wifi. Currently nakapostpaid monthly kmi sa DITO which is sobrang bagal and naghohotspot nlng ako sa laptop and smart tv kaso ang bili skumain ng data. Ung house kasi namin ngayon 6 floors and current living situation namin is kaming pamilya nasa ground floor ung ibang kasama namin sa bahay nasa 2-6th floor and currently gamit nila is STARLINK, which is sobrang bilis ang problem is pag kinabitan ng mesh ung starlink para umabot ang signal sa ground floor, bumabagal ang wifi sa 2-6th floor kaya kami nagpakabit ng another wifi which is DITO. Halos ilang months narin kami sa DITO ang problem sobrang bagal mabilis lng sya pag malapit na ung billing date? Ewan ko kung may kinalaman un pero halos wala rin kasi nilipat na namin kung saan saan location para bumilis wala pa rin. Any suggestion if maganda bang mag upgrade nlng ng sariling modem para sa DITO sim or maghanap ng mas magandang wifi provider? Please help wfh ako and also studying online every weekend kaya talagang needed ng strong wifi connection.

I'm trying to upgrade the internet coverage in our house, we're currently using an older Xiaomi AX1800 router(connected at the center of house in the 2nd floor) as a mesh that is connected wireless from a converge ZTE router(2nd floor North East side of the house), the AX1800 has good coverage for a bigger than average 2 story house but the signal can be slow and unstable on the edges of the house.

I'm trying to decide between the Xiaomi AX3000 NE(Php 4899 for a 2 pack and 4500 sq ft coverage between the 2 units) or a TP Link X50 (Php 5050 for 1 unit and 2500 sq ft coverage per unit).

Can anyone provide feedback if they've tried either of the 2 mesh systems i've listed. I've tried the app for the xiaomi and it does come off as very basic but that was for the AX1800 which is an older model and i've never tried a TP Link but i've read online that the app support is better for it. I just need better and more stable internet speed coverage for the whole house.

I'm partially leaning over to the AX3000 pricewise over the X50 since i might need 2-3 units since i'll be connecting one wired to the old converge router for better signal coverage for the mesh system and we have an older(1980s) house but the X50 might be better in the long run and the app support might be better for managing the mesh units.
