Need Help Google VPN IPv6
Back when Google VPN was included in my Google Drive Subscription, I really liked to use it because it was one of the few VPNs that supports IPv6, and it was also very seamless on my device. Sadly Google killed it.
However, I just got myself a Pixel, which has Google VPN included. However, now I don't get an IPv6 address. Has Google removed IPv6 from its VPN? Cause that'd be a bummer.

Google VPN is kinda like Cloudflare Warp: I wouldn't use it for shady stuff, and it doesn't change your location for e. g. streaming stuff from a different country.
But compared to CF Warp it's just a worse service though, since it's available in less regions and has worse features (not post-quantum, no IPv6, ...). Also only available on Google phones.
At least Google VPN and CF Warp generally have better IP reputation than most commercial VPN providers, who often rent servers from "host anything" providers like Datacamp and M247 Europe so you'll usually get less captchas.

Googling "Google VPN IPv6" finds a post here from 3 years ago about the now-decomissioned desktop product, but no relevant Google support articles (just talking about the commercial HA-VPN product). So it seems no, which seems like an odd step back for them.
On the other hand, the Google VPN has some serious limitations, so you're better off finding another provider, or the ever popular $5 VPS and Wireguard tunnel solution.

Yeah, for most use cases Google VPN really isn't the best. I like it on my phone because it automatically connects on untrusted WiFis, and my main usage was always to get IPv6 which most public WiFis don't have without having to fiddle a lot with the VPN.
I even have other VPNs I can use, but setting it up so it automatically connects on only some WiFis but not all is an effort I don't really want to put up, so it's quite a loss of quality of life for me.

ProtonVPN has good early IPv6 support. If you find a server that supports IPv6 it can use it fully and exclusively…. underlay, overlay, and dns
