Proud.

Just so proud to be Irish. Showered and shaved going out for pints. Meet man on entering bar. Cà bhuil an gabhar a rosta he says. Didn't know him and never heard it before. Had to enquiry. Explained , where's the goat being roasted, cause I am normally in working cloths during week. How inoffensive, polite and complimentary a statement could a person get. Says it all being Irish.

I think that you were chatted up.

"Cà bhuil an gabhar a rosta" he says lasciviously

TIL that the Irish for "Well hello" is "Cà bhuil an gabhar a rosta"
