Just finished the 2nd challenge of the 20 Games Challenge, or 1st if you don't count Pong

I made it in many days, because I was lazy and I am a noob in the field of arts

Enjoy it, your flappy bird

They need to kill this feature, why is it a thing in a jam? It's super annoying.

I don't even understand. The whole point of a jam is to get feedback from the community, if you keep hindering the community from providing said feedback, you're just doing nothing.

I really get excited about rating games, and replying to people and then I get this message and it just kills the whole vibe.

For a platform all about game devs who need to optimize to their audience, it's ironic that itch makes such a dumb mistake.

REMOVE THIS OR INCREASE THE COMMENT RATE SUBSTANTIALLY FOR JAMS.

Free [Free] Made a music pack โ€” 20 tracks, 9 genres, use it in anything

Free asset on itch.io, in case it's useful to anyone here.

I write royalty-free music for a living, and I put together a pack of 20 tracks to give away. Nine genres in there โ€” action cinematic, sci-fi, orchestral, hard rock, electronic techno, retro chiptune, casual and acoustic. Figured a spread would be more useful than twenty variations on the same thing.

WAV and OGG, most with looping versions so they drop straight in. Use them in whatever you're making โ€” game, video, stream. Commercial is fine. No credit needed, no signup, no email wall.

Free QA / Playtesting for Indie Games โ€” Looking for Projects to Test

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for indie developers who would like some free playtesting/QA feedback on their games.

I'm from Argentina and have a strong background with PCs, hardware and troubleshooting. I'm currently trying to build practical experience in game QA, so I'm offering my testing time for free for a limited number of projects.

I can look for:

- Bugs and glitches

- Crashes

- Performance issues

- UI problems

- Input/control issues

- Visual problems

- Softlocks/game-breaking bugs

- General gameplay feedback

Instead of just saying "I liked it", I'll provide a structured report describing what I found, how to reproduce it and how severe the problem is.

I'm especially interested in PC indie games and playable demos/betas.

If you're comfortable sharing your game, leave a link below. I'll take a look and choose a few projects to test.

Happy to help fellow indie developers!

Game I couldn't be happier.

So many achievements in one image!

Not only did I reach 100,000 matches, but I'm also nearing 500 ratings. And since the last update, my daily match count hasn't dropped below 400-600!

What you don't see: 13 updates, 3 of them major (these are visible). With each update, I get a knot in my stomach, worried that I've missed something and messed up the game. Those minutes until I realize everything is okay are really tough.

Assets When I played Enter the Gungeon I really liked the fact that the UI showed the player's interaction with the weapon being held, so I decided to experiment with the idea, and created a animated asset pack focused on that. (With a lot of extras too lol)

Game [Browser] SPACE15 โ€” a 15-minute sci-fi command game where surviving crew remember previous missions

Thumbnail

Game Title: SPACE15

Playable Link: https://waaachow.itch.io/space15

Platform: Web / Browser

Description:
SPACE15 is a small sci-fi command game built around short runs of about 15 minutes. You command a ship through six jumps, make route and crew decisions, deal with encounters, and eventually negotiate or fight your way through the final stage.
The part I was most interested in building was the crew. Survivors carry their history, relationships, injuries and experience into later deployments, so over several runs you can start developing favourites โ€” and occasionally make decisions you regret.
Visually itโ€™s deliberately quite minimal and retro: green phosphor terminal screens, archive-machine aesthetics, tape hiss and lots of text.
Iโ€™m mainly looking for feedback on whether the decisions feel meaningful, whether the interface is understandable, and especially whether the persistent crew system makes you care about the people on the ship after a few runs.

Free to Play Status:
[x] Free to play

Involvement:
I made and directed the game as a solo project. I want to be transparent that I used AI extensively as part of the development process, including assistance with code, graphics, sound and text. I was responsible for the game concept, design decisions, systems, direction, editing, testing and iteration, but this is definitely an AI-assisted project.

Hey everyone!

We just released the beta of our game on itch, and we'd love to share it with you!

We're a small Brazilian indie game development team, and we've been working on Wizzard Cards (yes, the misspelling is intentional) for the past four months.

It's finally out on itch.io and completely free to play! We're hoping to get some feedback, meet some players, and, if we're lucky, maybe get a few donations to help us eventually bring the game to Steam. The Steam publishing costs are pretty expensive for us here in Brazil, so every little bit helps.

If you'd like to check it out, we'd be really happy if you stopped by the page and gave the game a try. No pressure at all!

Also, since this is a beta, we'd really appreciate any constructive criticism and bug reports from anyone who gives it a try. We're sure there are still plenty of bugs hiding around, so if you find one, please let us know!

Thanks for reading, and thanks to anyone who decides to check it out!

Game This FPS game with camera and filters

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Vibe coded this with claude. It's a mix between a camera app and a shooter game. Basically itโ€™s an FPS that uses your phoneโ€™s camera as part of the game, so you can actually look around by moving your phone. Then I added a bunch of experimental stuff like filters, maps, and being able to stick videos/PDFs/live camera feeds onto walls during a match. Mostly just wanted to see how far I could push the idea.

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s in it:

  • Camera mode โ€” the game plays over your live camera feed, and you aim by physically turning your phone
  • Camera filters plus photo and video recording
  • 11 weapons and killstreaks, all the way up to a tactical nuke
  • Zombie Arena โ€” survive waves solo or play co-op with up to 6 people in a room
  • Free-for-all PvP
  • Peer-to-peer multiplayer โ€” no central game server sitting in the middle
  • Map maker โ€” build with walls, ramps, moving lifts, your own .glb models, floor images, spawn points, and more
  • Exportable maps โ€” save your maps as files and send them to friends
  • Shared media walls โ€” put a PDF, video, GIF, your screen, or a live camera feed onto a wall in the middle of a match
