Okay so I keep seeing these diamond bracelets everywhere and people call them "tennis bracelets" but like... why? Is there an an actual reason or is it just a random name that stuck?

I was so nervous waiting for this to arrive, but my diamond bracelet is here and i am literally staring at my wrist non stop. The sparkle in natural light is just incredible, honestly way better than the pictures online.

Just got this diamond stud earrings as an early gift for myself for passing my exams. The posts feel really secure so I don’t have to stress about losing one while out. Definitely worth every single penny.

I do not buy jewelry for myself because I always end up buying it as a gift or for a special event. I have always found it harder to justify buying jewelry of significance. Buying a nice ring or bracelet for no particular reason, just because you want it, doesn’t make sense, right?

But why do we need an excuse to buy nice jewelry for ourselves, be it for a birthday, an anniversary, or a wedding?

For those of you who buy jewelry for yourselves, what was your last purchase, and why did you buy it?

And for those who don’t buy for themselves, what stops you?

My partner and I were talking about insurance for her engagement ring and that led me to search around about diamond ring appraisal cost. I assumed it would be something small like twenty bucks but apparently it might be more than that. Maybe I am wrong though. Some people say you should get it appraised every few years which surprised me. Does the price of the appraisal depend on the size of the diamond or the type of setting. Also wondering if most jewelers do this service or if you need a specialist. I feel like I should know this stuff but I really don't.

Something important about the rings is that they have '14K ZEI' and 'HDS' written inside, but I do not know if that proves they are real or just a cheap copy
