First by this brand. The quality reminds me of Hennessy.

I got this for the artwork featuring a glamorous sophisticate in Venice. This is the second from this brand that I’ve done out of the four I ordered. My experience with this one was very similar to the first.

Pros: Great illustration, beautiful colors, smooth pieces, compact box.

Cons: Some pairs were cut but not separated, the poster is awkwardly sized, tight fit requires some force at times.

As an import to the U.S., the price is higher than I can justify for myself going forward, but I have enjoyed the illustrations I’ve done so far.

Definitely a top tier puzzle!! Lots of variety in piece shapes, nice board, satiny (not glossy), finish, good print quality. The poster is bigger than the box and VERY nice quality paper, yet easy to hold (not an fterthought like Gibsons, and not as big as Cobble Hill (which can be unwieldy). This is my first Villager and hopefully not the last!

Voss is both an artist and a climate scientist according to the box bio. Works for me!

I was lucky enough to test drive this puzzle on its way to an eventual launch on Kickstarter. The artwork is so much fun with its aliens vs. pirates battle. There are a bunch of hidden objects for those who like an additional challenge. While this prototype was somewhat shiny, that issue is apparently intended to be addressed before going live. Hoping we’ll see it become widely available before too long.

I love this mini puzzle with its muted colors and lovely outdoor scene. I did it on a midday break, and it was the perfect size for that.
